Great little site for a short stay
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great price, we used the site as a base while visiting friends that live in Cardiff. The kitchen was fab, could have saved a little space in the car if we realised what was available to use. Toilets were clean and well stocked. Amazing little canopy shelter for communal gatherings if wanted. The supply of fire pit wood was handy too
Disliked Nothing really, I can imagine the access road to the site can get busy at high season but that’s about the only negative I can think of

The bell tent was lovely, beds…
Bell tent
Liked The bell tent was lovely, beds were comfy and the marshmallows to toast was a lovely touch! The toilet and kitchen facilities were nice and clean and not far from the tents. My daughter loved the lawn games that were provided, it was great stay! It was noisy in the night due to the train and busy road but ear plugs and eye masks were provided which was very handy!
Disliked The showers weren’t working first thing in the morning as the solar power had gone off, wasn’t a massive deal though.

Gonna be a smart place once fully up and running, we would stay again
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Nice surroundings by the river.very picturesque, we were able to pitch up wherever. looks like it's gonna be a nice place, still doing some work at the moment adding toilets and showers etc to a high standard. Fire pits are a nice touch
Disliked Power was a slight issue lights shut off early to conserve power ended up finishing my shower in the dark, at time of me being there was only one shower and 1 toilet but as mentioned more on the way. Traffic noise at night was a lot more than I expected or that I'm used to, comparing to Herefordshire but I guess that goes with being so close to Cardiff and the m4. But can't complain in terms of location

Disliked Not many toilets but I could see that more are being constructed
