Positiv It was an OK site We used it as an overnight stop on our way to Newhaven to catch the ferry to France. It's a bit rustic for our liking the toilets and shower need a good Clean and refurbishment I can imagine its a great site when its full and they have entertainment on but nothing on when we were staying not there fault Its the first time my wife refused point blank to use the toilets in a camp sites and we have been motorhome for a few years now So maybe something thay need to address

Negativ Train noise ( not there fault) Toilets need a good refurbishment and what they have needs a good clean.

Positiv Friendly staff, a lot off reviews saying shower block needs attention sorry the showers we used were perfectly OK ,hot water, clean and well heated what more can you ask for. The on site bistro and bar was OK a little bit pricey for drinks but staff very friendly and welcoming.
