Positiv Site was well laid out. Good range of stuff in shop. Bar food was good and service was quick, entertainment was good. Lovely well kept site, good for walks as forest/fields around. Staff were happy and always helped when asked.
Swimming pool on site which you can use if you call and book. ( we didnt use it).
We had a pleasant few days. We would use again.

Negativ Car cant go by tent, have to park down near the complex , its a short walk but something to consider if you cant walk far , you can unload tent etc at the side of tent area which helps and then move car once done. We did read this on booking so just mentioning it for others who check reviews.
Some people were inconsiderate while we were there and stayed outside of tent till 3am chatting and laughing , older Children screaming.(Not the fault of the park).
Lots of little electric scooters being raced around at all hours of the day by older children/teens.
The free WIFI was very poor and hardly connected, if it did it was very slow.

Positiv Park was clean and tidy and the amenities were closed to the pitch.

Negativ The fishing lake hadn't been stocked making it pointless to take out a permit.

Positiv The park is clean, the staff are really friendly and helpful. we have stayed here before with our touring caravan but opted to camp this time in the tent pitch area. Loads of walks to go on, we didn't use the entertainment of pool this time. We did eat at the restaurant and it was lovely

Near Dunbar

Negativ Grass pitch was more like sandy hard standing that looked scruffy and weedy- was messy after rain
Other users of the touring area using washing machines on their pitches, having the hose connected to the drinking water points preventing our use of them. Their washing machines emptying onto their pitches and the hedgerow. Other members of their party wheeling noisy trolleys of laundry around all day and late evening. Washing machine on at midnight, spinning loudly- keeping us awake.
Also these other users driving around site in their vans with ladders on top, day and night, down to the toilet block (for which it was unnecessary to drive as it was very close by and these were young people).
Children of these users urinating on their pitch rather than walking to the toilet. They also walked across our pitch, under our wind out awning, rather than walking round.
They also brought a trailer full of rubbish back each evening and parked it on their pitches, right next to someone else’s caravan.
These users were not rude but they were not on holiday and were not treating the site as a holiday site. It spoiled the atmosphere on site.
We did ask to move but we were informed that as we had booked through pitchup we were stuck with the pitch that we had been given- in the middle of these users.
It’s a shame as this could be a lovely site, with a bit more tidying up of the pitches and the area around the toilet block, if these people were not misusing a holiday site.

We are also reinforcing our site rules regarding the appropriate use of facilities, vehicle movements, and consideration for fellow guests to help prevent similar issues in the future.

We're sorry that we were unable to accommodate your request to move pitches. While bookings made through third-party agents can sometimes have limitations, we always aim to help where possible, and we regret that we couldn't find a better solution on this occasion.

Positiv We had a super amazing first camping experience with 4 years old kid.
Definitely recommended and we'd like to come back again.
The view is nice and the camping site is clean.
