We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the pool, the children's trampoline, the peaceful atmosphere, and found our sanitary facilities clean and well maintained.

Regarding the beach, we would like to clarify that our description clearly states that we are approximately 1.5 miles from the coast. We are lucky enough to be close to two beautiful beaches, both of which are easily accessible via the Coast to Coast Bissoe Cycle Trail, making for a pleasant walk or cycle.

During the peak season, the car parks serving both beaches can become busy at certain times of the day. As with many parts of Cornwall, some local roads are narrow, particularly closer to the coast. Fortunately, our site is easily accessed directly from the A30, with no narrow lanes to negotiate when arriving or departing.

Es freut uns sehr, dass Ihnen der Pool, das Trampolin für Kinder, die ruhige Atmosphäre und die sauberen Sanitäranlagen gefallen haben.

Bezüglich des Strandes möchten wir gerne klarstellen, dass in unserer Beschreibung deutlich angegeben ist, dass wir etwa 2,5 km (1,5 Meilen) von der Küste entfernt liegen. Wir haben das Glück, uns in der Nähe von zwei wunderschönen Stränden zu befinden, die beide bequem über den Coast to Coast Bissoe Cycle Trail zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar sind.

Während der Hauptsaison können die Parkplätze an beiden Stränden zu bestimmten Tageszeiten stark frequentiert sein. Wie in vielen Teilen Cornwalls sind einige Straßen in Küstennähe relativ schmal. Unser Campingplatz ist jedoch bequem direkt von der A30 aus erreichbar, sodass bei der An- und Abreise keine engen Landstraßen befahren werden müssen.

Positiv Absolutely everything! We stayed for 7 days and had an amazing time. The toilets, showers, and washing-up area were always spotless. The owners cleaned them every day and clearly took great pride in keeping everything in perfect condition. It was one of the cleanest campsites we’ve ever stayed at.

It was also really convenient to have a washing machine and tumble dryer available. The campsite is spacious, peaceful, and very quiet, making it the perfect place to relax. The swimming pool was lovely and very clean, and we really enjoyed using it. There’s also a small shop just around the corner, which is very handy if you need anything.

We honestly couldn’t fault this campsite and would happily come back again.

Positiv I have to say what a very impressive site. The facilities were immacutlate as they have just had a refubishment and it was lovely to have a hot shower. I liked we could hire a fire pit which was nice for the evening. Dog friendly site and a lovely walk to the beach which we enjoyed. Nice little shop for odds and ends and would we recommend and stay again. Most definitely. The owners of this site are very accomodating and nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay at Cambrose. See you again in July!

Positiv We had a great stay and can’t wait to come back with the kids. Football area our boys will love. The pool was so lovely, staff were friendly and welcoming. Shop was well stocked and showers etc well kept and clean. Grounds were well kept and the site is located between two of the most beautiful beach spots in Cornwall (Portreath & Porthtowan). The bike track we couldn’t believe connects all around the area from just up from the entrance to the site, so we could explore, this will be great for the kids when we come back. Can’t believe how perfectly placed this site is to be able to explore such beautiful parts of Cornwall on foot or bike.
