Positiv Only 10 Motorhome spots with hookups nicely maintained, friendly, chilled out site owned by Care Ashore. Relaxed environment. Good well stocked fishing lake. Retired seafarers in the bar great to talk to. Japanese Garden.

Negativ Very little - each pitch is separated by a large rock, take care in a larger motorhome although perfectly navigable. Little bit of noise from the nearby race track but not intrusive

Positiv Spacious space between pitches. Grounds were well kept.

Positiv Spacious pitch, lovely views . Nice campsite with use of the Care Ashore social bar. Lovely clean shower shacks but only 2 for the site so we didn’t use them

Negativ No reception on arrival which was off putting. Some aircraft noise

We are sorry that you found it off putting that we do not have a reception. Springbok operates on a first come, first served pitch basis, there is not always a staffed reception/check-in point, and this information is included in our pre-arrival greeting mail.

Positiv Extremely clean and very peaceful
Easy stress free and such a relaxing weekend

Negativ Disabled toilets - if I have to comment about anything it would be lack of privacy in the disabled toilets.
My daughter is very dependent and requires help - the window on the door is very visible for all to see through especially at night with the light on
Please could you put a blind up just for privacy for the more dependent guests.

Positiv self managed, spacious pitches, small site and not too busy, it has most of the facilities we needed, there are sheeps right next to the pitches and also a fishing lake with a lot of fish, will bring a net and mat next time, my daughter had a lovely time.

Negativ shower cubicle is a little dated but does the job.

Positiv Spacious pitches. Set in 260 acres of parkland with plenty of walks.

Negativ Small shop on site would be great if it opened a bit earlier than 11.30

Positiv Glorious, peaceful and spacious setting with an abundance of beautiful woodland walks, very welcoming and helpful staff (all retired seafarers) and very dog friendly. All essential amenities, nothing flashy, no kids playgrounds etc but ideal for relaxation and appreciation of surroundings and that’s why it suited us. We’ll definitely come back for a longer stay.
