Syntes om Beautiful site good basic facilities. Loved the spacious surrounding countryside.
Good value.
Water close by. Very different site people friendly.

Bracket broken holding men’s shower up little poor on site maintenance.

Syntes om The setting for the campsite was beautiful, we loved exploring the grounds including the Japanese garden with fish to watch and the woodlands. Plenty of space, and the pitches were a great size and flat. Washing up space was clean and tidy. A great site that we would definitely return to if in the area. Everyone seemed to find a pitch easily, and there were no issues with the check in/pitch up process.

Syntes ikke om Shower shacks were a lovely idea but not for us! Couldn't quite get the temperature right. We just used the showers in the main toilet block instead.

Syntes om We are long term users of this site and we love it. Owned by a charity and home to retired seamen we are always made welcome in their lounge and bar. Their Sunday dinner is delicious.

Large pitch.

Syntes ikke om Electric pitches towards the top of the area required very long leads to reach the electric point.

No toilets close to electric pitch

Two showers can only be used during daylight hours

One shower you can use at night is very busy, floods, the door is hard to lock, it's a long walk

Womens toilets we're not cleaned, sanitary bins overflowing

The "private" pitch in the middle with the yurts were rude to campers and makes campers walk round on the road to get to the toilet

The flight path of Gatwick aeroplanes was very noisy and constant, this is not mentioned anywhere. Sleeping at night was hard.

The clubhouse has a dart board. Nothing else. The TV is for the residents to use in the care home. The bar opens at 5pm which was ok.

There is no reception for WiFi on the campsite

Syntes om We have tried numerous sites and this one is our favourite by far. It’s peaceful, beautiful grounds, lots of space to walk the dog, clean, and very well kept.

There is a small bar on site which is a nice touch. Each time we have stayed everyone has been so lovely and friendly.

Absolutely gem 💎 of a find!

Syntes om We liked the free view, the cows very close, the landscape we were, and the fact that we were welcome in such a special place.

In the late evening, there was a conflict going on in a caravan.
We didn't know were to go to.
We missed someone who we could contact, to check in and for the peace on the pitches.

Syntes om I liked the unobtrusiveness of the online check-in.

It was a great location as a stopover on way to Portsmouth.

Syntes ikke om Not many showers? I stayed at an annual pop up site that had renovated an old horse box very well and it had plenty of modern showers inside and loos, with the kitchen area outside. Just a suggestion as you have plenty of room. It was like a tardus!

Also I don’t think there was any WiFi? I couldn’t even get my maps app to work when leaving the site.

Syntes om Shower Shack really good. Toilets block somewhat tired and lacking separate washbasins in cubicle. Needed for privacy especially for women.
Pitch was perfect, large, level and easy access.
Social club worth visiting for a warm welcome and licensed bar.

Syntes ikke om No reason to raise anything we disliked. We will stay again.
