Positiv The site is beautiful and very well kept pitches are really large and flat easy access to Shropshire union canal for great walks pub on site good Sunday dinners. Would recommend . If your into fishing plenty of lakes-lodges , warden top bloke

Negativ Shower block needs either an upgrade or a new block push button shower last 3 seconds but clean and tidy

Positiv It's going to a mixed review.
Rocked up at the wrong reception, telephoned number supplied , it was answered immediately and we were given instructions of where to go. Nice greeting as we arrived on pitch and info given.
Peaceful pitch by the fishing pond, relaxing and fairly quiet although I thought a little overpriced.
It was pleasurable sitting outside at the Stumble Inn for a couple of pints in the sunshine.

Negativ The shower block is small for the size of site. I can't fault the decor or cleanliness but a push button shower that lasts for 3 seconds is really not acceptable! Always carry a pack of wetwipes!

I'm so glad I booked one of the lake pitches as when we arrived on the main campsite there was a large group of people sat round in a big circle barbecues and radio on the go. Speeches later on. I'm not sure what it was about and I'm all for free speech but why do some people think everyone else wants to listen to their music choice etc?
Had we booked a pitch on that part of the site I would not have stayed.

Positiv Great staff really really helpful. Lovely place, pitch was great loads of space.
Facilities are spot on everything you need and really really clean. Shower pressure and heat was great. So glad i found it will be back ***** stay

Positiv Loads of room, lots of assistance on arrival. Nice and secure with lovely facilities.

Positiv Friendly welcome and lovely view across the lake.
Toilets were spotless.
The on site pub was great and had live music on.
35 min walk down the canal to Audlam.

Negativ I asked what time breakfast was on Sunday and was told until midday.
Went in at 1115 and breakfast had finished.
Just feel the food serving times need to made clearer.
The pitches look like they are lodge pitches. The water doesn’t have a tap and spurts out all over the place, even when slightly turned on.
The pitch was £50, which is very expensive. However I’m aware that does include fishing around the lake.
Would be better to include non fishing tariff.
