We had one burst pipe in the morning, this was fixed at 7am… I don’t know many other businesses that could fix something that quickly

Luckily we have 4 new toilets and 4 new showers being installed so this will help.

With regards to a dog barking, I’m really sorry but we can’t stop dogs barking you dumb ass, if reported to the site manager we would still try to help… probably by sending you home as you are clearly the only problem onsite

Some areas of the site are not mowed, that’s because it’s called Wild camping, we added the word “wild” to our title for people like you that clearly can’t read.

Complaining that a wild campsite was a bit “wild” is like going on safari and complaining that you saw too many animals… there’s always a clueless keyboard warrior that has nothing better to do than whinge, I’m surprised that you didn’t whinge about the birds singing, or the river water for flowing too fast

Positiv Very clean site, clean toilets and showers, was no noise, owner was a very nice chap enjoyed our first time camping would highly recomend to everyone,

Positiv The landowner is very friendly! The campsite is great! Loads of places to fish. Busy on the weekend. But that is a part of English summers.

Positiv This was our first time semi wild camping, ideal site for wild swimming and fishing. The owner came around during the evening to check everyone was ok and explain the new toilets were open. They had fire pits around which you could use and you’re able to buy firewood there.

Negativ There was a large group that stayed up playing music and drinking into the early hours of the night and they had a large puppy dog whom barked non stop which ruined it for us. There were some people nearer the water that got very territorial over their spot and scared my teen son away as he wanted to fish there.

Positiv Great camping field, loved being close to the river. We paddle boarded straight from the site and had a fire. We were free to pitch where we wanted. Great site will visit again

Positiv Tom the owner welcomed us when we arrived and was accommodating and kind. Site was clean and the toilet and showers were great. Loved being on the river and we enjoyed a paddle boarding trip upriver to the bridge!

Negativ Some small bit of rubbish on the site but not their fault as the messages clearly say to clean up after yourself and take all rubbish how!

Positiv We come every year it is a really nice place to relax and enjoy being outside, wasn’t too busy or loud and the workers on site are really helpful and friendly. My dog loved the site and swimming in the lake so definitely a dog friendly camp site look forward to coming again
