Negativ Noisy hen party or similar in ajoining field was disturbing teatime/ evening but the did shut up by about 10:00pm

Positiv Loved watching our 2 and 7 year old running free barefoot under the stars with new friends! Clean toilets (x2 plus 2 portaloos) clean, hot, powerful showers x2 along with sinks and 1 for washing up with provided liquid and sponges. Cute sheep next door to see and hear. Stunning views all around. Flat, spacious pitches. 2 water taps 60 secs walk from the pitch. Farmer gows also let us into their barn play area for free during the peak sun/heat which was kind. All dogs on site were well behaved. Whole field was clean and large wheelie bin for waste.

Negativ Louder groups around time of children settling/ being settled 9:30/10pm - aware this isn’t the campsites fault

Positiv In the middle of the country with lovely views.

Negativ Lack of facilities for the size of the field. Field to toilets a danger zone in the dark as no lights at all and also when wet was very slippery mud. Didn’t see the owner once. The bin area overflowing. Toilet/wash area ceiling dripping in places.

Positiv We got a warm welcome from the hosts. We had plenty of space in our plot although it was under the only tree so the birds were our wake up call which we were ok with as we were able to get back to sleep.

Site was clean, tidy well kept with a lit up pergola and large flower pots.
2 showers backed the 2 toilets. Always topped up with toilet roll and soap. The wash up space linked to the shower room which I found a little odd but it seemed to work.

Cars are allowed on site but need to be parked in the car park close by over night which I found unusual as there was plenty of space for ours to be left beside our tent. Maybe it’s for busier periods.

The site is 6 minutes drive to supermarkets, petrol station and another couple minutes to the town of Faringdon Would recommend this for families who are looking for a smaller quieter campsite.

Negativ Small gripe with having to move car away from tent for the night time.

Positiv Friendly owners, relaxed atmosphere, clean facilities and hot showers. Good location next to Farmer Gow’s.

Negativ Only 2 toilets and 2 showers (although we never had to wait). A separate washing up area would be helpful.
