Gostou The location is good for exploring the local history, the toilets and showers were kept clean and well stocked with toilet rolls and sanitising wipes, there are plenty of pitch choices.

Não gostou As others have mentioned, the perimeter hedge is very high and obscures the surrounding landscape, but this is problematic due to the fact that the site is surrounded by farmland and there was a lot of tractor activity while we were there.
Whilst not a fault of the site, our stay was spoiled slightly by a group of six men that arrived at 2:30am on the Monday, they were very loud and left the washing up sink in a terrible mess!

Gostou Lovely staff - so friendly and helpful, beautiful quiet site- basic but beautiful ! Plenty of space between pitches, easy to find and clean facilities

Gostou Location was perfect for me, quiet and away from main roads. Lisa was also very lovely, friendly and helpful.

Não gostou Facilities were a bit minimalist for the amount of people when it was fully booked.

Não gostou The old caravan in the corner would benefit from a clean. It would be more in keeping with the rest of the site then.

Gostou The campsite had a lovely vibe. Friendly atmosphere. Facilities were basic but had everything we needed.

Não gostou The tap on the washing up sink was broken so had to use the wash basins.

Gostou Easy to access and find.

Não gostou Really poor layout, bit of a junk yard, toilets and showers are ok - but could be better and less smelly. No security and no management. Then as I tried to leave a person blocked the track and asked if I’d paid (making me late for my appointment I was leaving for and I had paid in advance). If there was security then payment could be managed differently. Our pitch might as well of been in the pathway. Just a field with small electric pitches, a bunch of yurts randomly positioned and poor management. And no WiFi to top off the unthought through space.

Do gestor: Please don’t let your poor time keeping reflect your reviews, just because you had made yourself late and worked yourself up into a rage is no excuse to be rude to our staff.

Gostou Peaceful location. Fairly flat field. It's just a field!

Não gostou No reception, no instructions. It's just a field. Nobody there to meet you. So just hooked up to the only available electrical point. Parked my car next to caravan. Went to pub to find campervan between my caravan and next, hence, had to park car out front. No real issue, as everyone staying was friendly. There are a couple of toilets and a shower, but just used my own. This is proper basic camping, with a premium price tag. There are some pubs in nearby villages, but no footpaths, so safer to drive as it is around a mile on a country road. Don't expect anything other than a field, or you'll be dissapointed. No staff, no reception....

Gostou Unfortunately we were unable to stay on this occasion due to travellers taking over the site!
Our hostess was very helpful, and offered alternative accommodation, which was sadly unsuitable on this occasion, so gave us our money back.
We wish her well and hope the site is restored very quickly.

Gostou The area was quiet and fairly remote. The camping field was flat and the grass was maintained.

Não gostou Whilst I appreciate its hard to verify and stop unsavoury guests from staying, but unfortunately there were a clear group from the 'travelling community' staying at the site and on the Saturday evening they were outside their caravans drinking, playing loud music and talking/singing to gone 3am in the morning. With no site presence or security they obviously felt empowered to do as they like with no care or consideration for other campers and some with young families.
