Negativ Having paid for electric hook up you still have to pay £1 to use the shower. The showers and the toilets were not the cleanest. No hand soap or dryer in the toilets. Feel it is overpriced at £30 a night.

Negativ Do not stay at this campsite. I can't believe I did not read previous reviews. I booked in Hart Toilet and shower facilities were terrible. The campsite was just like a back garden to an old bungalow. Check-in Services was to phone a number and you got allocated a pitch. We stayed on the site for approximately three minutes.. This would not have been a holiday.

Positiv Quiet campsite in nice location, lovely walks straight from the site. Sufficient facilities.

Negativ Not overly well kept, quite a bit of rubbish on pitch and around the site. Electric hook up didn’t work on our pitch so had to use next doors.

Positiv Brilliant site, we have stayed here before, great access to the high peak trail for cycling

Positiv The pitches were well-spaced, there were several freshwater outlets, the electrical hookups were reliable, and the site is well-placed for Bakewell, Buxton, and visits around the Peaks and Dales. The price was very reasonable and site staff did come check in with us every few days.

Negativ There was only one shower in operation during our stay, and the lights didn’t work in it. During our trip, there weren’t so many people that we couldn’t shower, but if the site was busier this may have been an issue. It would also be helpful to have coat hooks in the loos.

Positiv Clean site and adequate facilities for a basic camp.

Negativ I had to stand on the WC to reach the slot for the £1 to have a shower. Just a little bit unsafe!

Positiv Easy access to walks in the area. Shower was nice and clean.

Negativ 2 showers on site but 1 was permanently locked which led to que's every morning. Could do with a tin bin to put ash from firepits which are allowed. A very loud Cockerill who was awake at 4am every morning !!!!

Positiv Quiet pitch, but fortunate to get what we considered the best pitch.

Negativ No facilities to speak of. Very small, basic toilets. Only one of two showers working (£1) but nothing cleaned on a regular basis. Junk left lying (example an old broken toilet)
The pub next door was permanently closed, so nothing around within walking distance in the evening.
Quite disappointing, but the location was great and we still enjoyed the camping spot - just made the most of what we had available.
Inexpensive, so that was helpful.
No WiFi or signal available!

Toilet facilities are professionally built by British company fit for purpose... is it not ... yet you are critical ??can you explain Are you not camping and in countryside ? ?
Please explain where was this broken toilet???? No such thing there is no toilet broken anywhere on site

Toilet facilities are cleaned twice everyday and guess what I clean them myself so you you are not being truthful
Junk lying you not mentioned where and what kind of junk .... please tell me where is this junk on site our site is clean and tidy we have 7 bins plus Commercial bin

Public footpath leading to it maximum 7 to 8 minutes walk

Positiv Excellent Stay

Had a fantastic stay at **Greystones Nawab Camping & Touring**. The tent pitch was excellent—spacious, clean, peaceful and well maintained. It’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great camping and touring site. We’ll certainly be coming back! ⛺️🌿
