Pitches

  • Friendly site set just off the RM1 Santomera-to-San-Javier motorway
  • Bus service to Murcia from park entrance; beaches half an hour by car
  • Dog-friendly site with bar/restaurant, mini gym and outdoor pool
The Costa Blanca coastline, the city sights of splendid Murcia (and all its foodie joints), plus gentle outdoorsy days are all within your holiday grasp here at Camper Park Casablanca: surrounded by orchards and mountains, and with the the Segura river flowing serenely past close by, an abundance of scenic hiking and biking trails are also around to meander along. There's a friendly and laidback vibe at this site just outside Zeneta, which has an outdoor pool and a mini gym along with various seasonal events and activities making up a social programme that includes fun stuff like communal dinners and paella nights. A satellite TV service is in the common room for cosy evenings in, as well as a videogames console for friendly rivalry among teens and younger peeps. Dogs are welcome to join you for a break here too. On the practical front, guests can hook up to the park's wifi service for a further digital fix, get clothes clean at the laundry area and use the gas cylinder exchange service. Reception doubles as a mini market, and daily sales of freshly baked bread occur here in the mornings too. The site's bar/restaurant serves up a range of dishes (including a fine paella) alongside local wines and cool drinks.

What customers say

This campsite offers a mixed experience for visitors. Many praise the friendly and accommodating staff, clean facilities including a pool, and spacious pitches. Fresh baguettes and restaurant meals are highlighted as positives. However, recurring concerns include noise from a nearby busy road, limited and dated bathroom facilities (sometimes lacking supplies), and Wi-Fi issues. Some guests found the location inconvenient without transport. While the pool is generally well-received, some report outdated sanitary facilities.

Liked Aardige eigenaren, klein winkeltje, mogelijkheid om er te eten, schoon sanitair en prima plaatsen, die je zelf mag uitzoeken. Murchia prima op de fiets te bereiken of met de bus die voor de deur stopt

Electric optional gravel pitch

Liked Friendly staff and clean site. Fresh bread available every morning and food in restaurant is good too. We stayed for 3 nights and we were tightly packed in, couldn’t have our awning open as no room.

Disliked No actual pitches, you just seem to go wherever there’s enough room to squeeze in. Electric drops out often cause the system is so overloaded which plays havoc with your fridge. Electric is metered and is very expensive at €0.70 kw People with dogs take them out the back and don’t seem to pick up the dog poops. Showers are rusty and tired looking. Road noise is terrible as site is situated right next to busy road and bridge goes over end of site.

Liked Very relaxed attitude, nice to walk around, pool and food looked great (didn’t try personally).

Disliked Location was a bit difficult but bus was regular and cheap - just hard with a dog!

Local attractions

With a mighty handy site location just off the RM1 Santomera-to-San-Javier motorway, it takes about half an hour to speed yourself to southeastern Spain’s cracking Costa Blanca beaches for sandside family outings. Make tracks too for Alicante’s cracking coastal city of Torrevieja, for promenades along long stretches of sandy, resort-fringed beaches, and to visit its wee Museo del Mar y de la Sal to see exhibits showcasing the town’s nautical heritage. Next door lies the Lagunas de la Mata y Torrevieja Nature Park, for ambles along trails and bathes in two surreally coloured salt lakes, one pink and one green: slather your bod in black mud and then bathe in the salty water – just be sure to take some spare water for a quick rinse afterwards. Should you hanker after a trip to the city (without having to regard the oft maddening matter of finding a parking spot), a bus service to laidback and mellow Murcia and its plentiful foodie hotspots stops at the site entrance, or if you’re feeling energised and have your own two wheels, a pretty bike path takes you along the river and all the way into the centre too.
