Tucked into a mountain setting and surrounded by crystal-clear springs, Camping Las Fuentes de Letur is just the spot to enjoy a few days of fresh air, relaxation and peace in Jaén’s Sierra del Segura foothills. Far from the noise and stress of everyday life, at this family-friendly site you’ll wake each morning to the soothing sound of running water and birdsong.  Spacious pitches are lined with trees to shade you from the sun in the hottest months, and all have access to electricity. They are a few steps away from the hot showers and laundry service; there’s also a designated dog park where you can exercise your pets off lead. Kids can order burgers as you eat tapas and fideuà – a regional take on paella made with pasta – in the modern restaurant and bar. The best tables are out on the terrace, where you can soak up views over the forested hills. In high season, the pool opens and on-site activities are organised for the whole family – you can have a go on the mini climbing wall or via ferrata course. Around five minutes’ walk away is the historic village of Letur, where there are supermarkets, smart craft shops and a few restaurants.

Liked Lovely countryside for walking and cycling( nice quiet roads), very near to the town of Letur which had a super little supermarket with lovely friendly staff. The campsite staff were also friendly, cheerful and helpful. Serviced pitch was nice and also peaceful.

Disliked Check in was automated and we had problems with the barrier but this was our fault for not filling out the check-in form correctly( Sorted by a member of staff promptly). The toilet and shower facilities, although clean are very 'basic' and could do with an upgrade but adequate if you don't mind communal changing spaces in the showers and unlockable light folding toilet doors. Should there have been a lot of other vans on the site getting in and out of the pitch spaces would've been quite difficult due to the positioning of the service points. The site also looked a little dishevelled in places, but maybe there were renovations going on.
