Liked Todo! Es un camping nuevo, instalaciones estupendas, restaurante rico y bien de precio. La gente en súper amable. Las parcelas genial. La piscina pequeña pero muy mona y cuidada. Le deseo lo mejor porque de verdad que es maravilloso. Por la noche refresca, en verano se agradece, y no tuvimos problemas de mosquitos. Todo genial!!!

Beautifully kept place, looking over Granada, using the pool under the stars, great food and wonderful views from the restaurant and above all the friendly and helpful staff. Thanks, we will be back!

Liked Great site with fantastic views. All the staff were excellent and very welcoming. Relaxed atmosphere.
Small stone chips on the pitches was good with no sand or dust. Several of the pitches have privacy and as the site matures the trees and bushes will provide more.

The facilities were always clean. Sinks with integral plugs so you don’t need your own. Shower areas are spacious.

Restaurant/Bar- Food was delicious- every dish we tried. You have to try the cocktail list….. ;)
We had live music on monday evening and the restaurant gets busy with a good atmosphere.

The pool area is good with the beach style going from shallow to deep, a few beds on the layed grass as well as a small splash pool which will be good for young kids too.

The reception has a shop with basic items required for camping.

Disliked not having the time to stay another night.

Liked The pitches and access to the campsite are good for large motorhomes and caravans. Very friendly staff ready to help you. Good internet. Restaurant with not a large selection of dishes but excellent quality. The pool is small but very relaxing. Good base for touring the area.

Liked Very clean. Modern. Easy to find. Staff all very helpful and welcoming. Great size pitches. Food excellent. Fantastic swimming pool. On site shop. Near to village and supermarket. Dog friendly.

Liked Ein sehr netter Familienbetrieb mit einem tollen Restaurant. Der Chef hat jahrelang in Deutschland gelebt und spricht perfekt Deutsch. Die Zimmer und Duschen sind sehr sauber und werden täglich gereinigt. Der gesamte Campingplatz ist äußerst gepflegt.

Auch der Ort Dúrcal hat uns begeistert. Wir waren im August dort und haben das tolle Dorffest miterlebt, das sich über den ganzen Monat erstreckt. Überall waren nette Menschen, die Stimmung war fantastisch und abends war am Kirchplatz immer etwas los.

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Dúrcal ist ein Ort, an dem man sich sofort zuhause fühlt!

Disliked Eigentlich nichts außer vielleicht, dass sie auf den hinteren Plätzen noch eine Toilette haben könnten

Local attractions

Sightseeing trips might start in gorgeous Granada (half an hour’s drive), where you’ll need to book ahead to explore the vast and stunning complex of the Alhambra, with its gardens, fortress and palaces. The city’s district of Sacromonte is also worth visiting for its troglodyte cave dwellings, flamenco clubs and views back to the hilltop landmarks of the Alhambra. Turning south, you can be on the Med coast in about 40 minutes by car. Costa Tropical beaches include grey-pebble Playa de Granada on the Motril coastal strip, which is backed by an elegant promenade and seafood restaurants. The kids will enjoy foraging for shells on grey-sand Playa de las Azucenas, while a little further east is Playa Torrenueva, where you can hire boats and try your hand at various watersports. If you’re up for exploring this scenic corner of Andalusia on foot or by bike, head for the networks of craggy mountain trails in the Falla de Nigüelas nature reserve (10 minutes). Further afield, you have more testing hikes and mountain bike tracks in the Alpujarras foothills (an hour), and if you are staying at Granada Base Camp in winter, there's skiing in the Sierra Nevada National Park (an hour and 10 minutes).
