Liked Beautiful site. Lots of trees, hedges-and well marked pitches. Very quiet.

Disliked Maybe slightly too quiet for us! No atmosphere at all. Also shower block required 50 cents payment for every five minute shower. This we felt was very poor in a campsite of this standard.

Liked Quiet and extremely well-maintained site. Plenty of additional facilities including free coffee in the games room.
The site is mainly geared towards cabins but the camping area is secure, spacious and well lit.

Disliked The facilities could do with a bit of a refresh but clean so not really a big deal.

Liked We were warmly welcomed by the friendly owner. A lovely well maintained, peaceful campsite with spacious pitches.
There are wonderful walking and cycling routes directly from the campsite. There is also a supermarket and bakery about 10 minutes walk away. We stayed 7 nights and would have been more than happy to have extended our stay if time had allowed.

Liked Beautiful site, felt very rural but close to a village. Nice clean facilities. Really helpful reception staff.
Tip: if you stay here make sure you have a torch as it's very dark at night!

Mix a bit of history into your days of exploring the scenery with outings to Amerongen Castle (five minutes’ drive), Duurstede Castle (20 minutes) and Soelen Castle, or visit the Airborne Museum at Hartenstein to see tanks and other memorabilia from World War II. Ouwehands Zoo is 10 minutes away for kid-pleasing days, or it's a half-hour drive to the excellent Burgers' Zoo, where you can see animals from all over the world in a series of themed ecosystem areas.
