Swims, scenic strolls and summertime fun for the small sorts – if such things are your dream hols made of, scoot to family-friendly Recreatiecentrum Adelhof, a peaceful spot in the woods just outside Vledder. The Drenthe region is famed as a green and pleasant part of the country, and this particular place is a top location from which to launch forays into the area, within easy driving distance of the Dwingelderveld and Drents-Friese Wold national parks. Take your pick from moors, forests and meadows for walks or cycle rides, set off in search of the prehistoric dolmen that lurk nearby, or simply cycle to the local villages to seek out a plate of pancakes. You may need the incentive of pancakes to entice the kids away from all the things vying for their attention on site – an all-weather tennis court, a miniature golf course, a multisports field, a playground, a bouncy castle, a climbing wall, a bowling alley, table tennis… And that’s before they’ve even dragged you next door to the swimming pool (with a paddling pool for the tinies and a waterslide for the more intrepid) or examined the range of activities at the kids’ club. Grownups have a carp fishing lake to try their luck at, and there's a café-bar on site too for drinks, coffee and snacks.

Liked Tent plaats. We hadden een heel grasveld alleen. Dus was ideaal met onze samenstelling.

Disliked De bijkomende kosten waar ik tijdens het boeken niet van op de hoogte was. Zoals extra kosten voor de stroomvoorziening. Bij het boeken werd aangegeven dat het er al bij zat. Om maar een voorbeeld te noemen.

Deze bieden wij te koop aan in ons winkeltje voor onze gasten die nieuw zijn met kamperen, en niet bekend zijn met de campingstekkers (CEE verloopstekker) die op de campings in Europa worden gebruikt.

Liked het mooie weer. schaduwrijke plek

Disliked in onze beleving achterstand op het terrein. Losse takken in de bomen. weinig toilet gebouwen. vooraan op de camping verouderd sanitair. Ook het feit dat we meer moesten afrekenen dan aangegeven op de website. Voor hond betalen maar geen toegevoegde waarde. (geen poepzakjes of locatie om uitwerpselen in zakje te deponeren.

Deze wordt bij ons op de factuur die u van ons ontvangt in mindering gebracht. Daarnaast zijn er kosten voor de toeristenbelasting en een huisdier. Deze zijn ook inzichtelijk tijdens het boeken via de website van Pitchup. Wij hebben verder geen extra kosten bij u in rekening gebracht.

Disliked los lopende honden. vuurkorven waar meer in werd verbrand dan Schoonhout, dit was voor ons als longpatiënten er vervelend en rook trok de caravan in.

When you’re ready to head out and stretch your legs, ask at reception for details of walking and cycle routes, including the Linde valley trail and Uffelte Havelte routes as well as those in the Drents-Friese Wold and Dwingelderveld national parks. Should you need a bit of a break from open-air wanderings, have a look at the Miramar Maritime Museum, a few minutes’ walk from the site, or take a trip to the Planetron in Dwingeloo (20 minutes’ drive) to look through the huge telescope into the starry skies. It’s also worth taking a wander into town (15 minutes’ walk) to see the glass art at the Vledder Museum and see if you can spot the forgeries from the real pictures in the fakes section. Certainly not fakes are the prehistoric dolmen that pepper the Drenthe countryside – there are several of these ancient stone burial chambers nearby, with the nearest about a 10-minute drive away.
