- Small naturist village in the Piedmont’s Monferrato Astigiano hills
- A 25-minute drive to Asti, 20 minutes to horse riding and golf
- Swimming pool, open-air cinema and karaoke, plus massages and yoga
High in the hills of the Monferrato Astigiano near Asti, Villaggio del Sole is a private retreat and wellness hub for naturists, extending over 3.5 hectares of meadows, woods, gardens and orchards.
Daily life centres on the large swimming pool with a solarium, sun loungers and parasols, with additional optional activities including meditation, naked yoga and forest bathing. Wellness massages and facials are also available, as well as water-aerobics classes in the pool.
Other summertime events include a Saturday-night disco, karaoke sessions and films watched under the stars at the open-air cinema. A buffet-style brunch showcasing local goat cheeses, salamis and Piedmont wines as well as organic produce grown on the estate takes place every Sunday.
And what of the camping facilities? Simple pitches tucked among trees on hillside pitches that are 100 per cent eco-friendly, have zero impact and are suitable for tents, while the services block is supplied by solar-powered renewable electricity. You can help yourself to soft drinks, water, ice cream, coffee and tea on the hilltop Patio, which also has a simple communal kitchen and gas barbecue.
