Beaches, beaches, beaches… however you like them (sandy ones, pebbly cove ones, resort ones, secluded ones) the Riviera del Conero is blessed with enough gorgeous spots to keep passing beach buffs happy for many a day. Grab a spot at Porto Recanati's Paradise Vacanze Camping Village for easy access to beaches and beyond. Those with bambini to amuse may well prefer to spend much of their time trotting back and forth to the nearest free beach, a 10-minute stroll away on a quiet path, while more active types can break away from the beach to hike, pedal or ride horses through the hills of the Conero Regional Natural Park. It’s a similar mix of relaxing and busier times on site – settle in by the pool for a day of sunbathing, swims and hot tub bubbles, or get up and at it by hitting the fitness trail or joining games of basketball, football and volleyball. Indoor and outdoor games and kids’ activities provide other options to keep family members amused. Refreshments are easily sorted here too – drinks are available all day at the bar, and the restaurant opens its doors for all three meal times and a takeaway service. A supermarket is 10 minutes’ walk away for guests who fancy cheffing at the barbecue area, or there are plenty of restaurants in the main resort.

Liked L'area tende, la posizione centrale e vicina a servizi adatti al campeggio, al centro del paese e al mare. Oltre all'accoglienza e disponibilità del personale.

Disliked la vicinanza all'autostrada (purtroppo appena dietro l'area camping), e le bicilette disponibili al noleggio, un pò troppo trasandate.

Liked Mi è piaciuto il luogo, la tranquillità, tanto spazio e tanta natura.
La vicinanza con il mare e con il supermercato o la ferramenta.
Bagni attrezzati e puliti: docce spaziose con appendiabiti e portaoggetti, wc o turche; tanti lavandini con appendino per asciugamani e anche lavandini per lavare stoviglie o panni. Mi è piaciuto inoltre che i bagni fossero contornati da siepi verdi come se fossero effettivamente delle stanze più "intime" e divise dal resto dello spazio in cui alloggiare!

Disliked Mi è piaciuto poco il fatto che per la piscina fosse obbligatoria la cuffia che, se lo avessimo saputo prima (magari ho perso io l'informazione non guardando bene sul sito/profilo) l'avremo portata, quindi non siamo riusciti ad usufruire di quella comodità, ma poco male visto che c'è il bel mare vicino 🙏🏻

Liked mi è piaciuto l'ambiente tranquillo e molto accogliente. Ho passato però in questo campeggio solo una notte in tenda. Servizi del campeggio buoni ed è distante dalla spiaggia meno di 10 minuti a piedi.

Local attractions

All down this stretch of the Adriatic coast are some gorgeous beaches, many with sheltered waters for safe swimming and splashing. If you’ve not got your own wheels (or would prefer to let someone else do the work) a shuttle runs from the site to some of the fave spots. Mezzavalle, Portonovo and the locals’ fave Urbani beach can all be accessed with a drive and a little walk. For something more secluded, head to Numana to board a boat to the Due Sorelle beach. Should you fancy stretching your legs a little more it’s a half-hour drive to the Conero Regional Natural Park for walks, bike rides or horse rides on the 18 waymarked paths that cross the pine forests, oak woods and lavender fields. Lots of them pass by or finish at little beaches where you can cool those weary feet. Half an hour away by car, Ancona is a good place for a day out, exploring the Roman and Renaissance sites, visiting the archeology museum and people watching from a piazza-side café.
