Bag a berth at Camping Tiglio for a Brescia break by the waters of Lake Garda – this family-run site is in a sweet spot on the lake’s south-east shore, with two and a half hectares of scenic green space and views out over the water. Pitch up here to be partway between pretty Peschiera del Garda five minutes’ drive away and the swish resort town of Sirmione, 20 minutes away on a little peninsula jutting out into the lake. Beach areas, wineries and lakeside restaurants are all nearby for those seeking serene days out; trips to Gardaland, Movieland and Canevaworld waterpark are around 15 minutes away for families with an eye on more energetic pursuits. Those who’ve brought the bambini along on their break will no doubt be chuffed to see that there’s a playground where they can let off a little steam, and a paddling pool alongside the main outdoor pool for cooling off afterwards. There’s a bar to keep all supplied with cool drinks; you won’t go hungry either if you’ve settled in for the full day, as the restaurant serves up breakfasts, lunches and dinners to have on the terrace, or pizza to take away. The terrace is also the setting for music evenings every Wednesday and Saturday from mid June to the end of August. Self-catering sorts are welcome to fire up a barbecue here; all the necessaries are on the shelves of the site’s well-stocked mini market, which also takes a welcome daily delivery of freshly baked bread.

Liked - Mitarbeiter der Rezeption und im Markt sehr freundlich
- Sanitäranlagen sauber, wurden mehrfach am Tag gereinigt

Disliked - der Einkaufsmarkt war noch geöffnet, jedoch nur noch ein sehr geringes Angebot
- irgendwie standen die Womo und andere Fahrzeuge ziemlich durcheinander
- bisschen abgelegen
- Bushaltestelle in der Nähe, jedoch kam der Bus 40 min später und an eine Mitfahrt war nicht zu denken, da völlig überfüllt, die Fahrt mit dem Taxi in das nahe gelegene Sirmione kostete uns dann knapp 40 Euro
- ich hatte direkten Seeblick gebucht und bekam einen Platz in zweier Reihe, wodurch der Blick zum See behindert war
- fast nur Deutsche auf dem Platz, die nicht mal „ Guten Morgen „ sagen konnten, aber dafür kann der CP nichts

Liked Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Schöner Platz in der ersten Reihe mit toller Aussicht. Auch im Oktober war der kleine Laden noch offen. Durch Baumaßnahmen leider nur ein Sanitärgebäude offen und das auch nicht sehr sauber.

Disliked Toilettenpapier wäre schön wenn vorhanden. Relativ hoher Preis.

Liked Ein sehr schöner platz. An jeder Ecke gibt es wasserbrunnen. Der See Zugang ist einfach aber sehr gut. Vorhandene Waschmaschine und trockner sindgut, aber jeweils eine ist zu wenig für die Größe des Platzes. Die Rezeption sprach deutsch was ich bis jetzt von den 6 Plätzen die ich besucht habe nicht erlebt habe. Deshalb 10/10

Disliked Leider sind die sanitär Anlagen sehr in die Jahre gekommen aber es ist bodentechnich sauber. Schimmel an den oberen Wänden in den duschen ist nicht so toll.

Liked Sauberer Campingplatz alle sehr nett und freundlich. Restaurant sehr gut, sehr ordentlich

Disliked Zu viele Hunde und zu viele Hundehalter die ihre Haustiere nicht erziehen können. Muss nicht sein dass um 6 Uhr früh die Hunde bellen andere Leute möchten im Urlaub etwas länger schlafen.

Liked Facilities were kept clean and tidy.
Parking spot was pretty level.
5-10min walk to the bus stop with easy access to the neighbouring towns.
