Bag a berth at Camping Tiglio for a Brescia break by the waters of Lake Garda – this family-run site is in a sweet spot on the lake’s south-east shore, with two and a half hectares of scenic green space and views out over the water. Pitch up here to be partway between pretty Peschiera del Garda five minutes’ drive away and the swish resort town of Sirmione, 20 minutes away on a little peninsula jutting out into the lake. Beach areas, wineries and lakeside restaurants are all nearby for those seeking serene days out; trips to Gardaland, Movieland and Canevaworld waterpark are around 15 minutes away for families with an eye on more energetic pursuits. Those who’ve brought the bambini along on their break will no doubt be chuffed to see that there’s a playground where they can let off a little steam, and a paddling pool alongside the main outdoor pool for cooling off afterwards. There’s a bar to keep all supplied with cool drinks; you won’t go hungry either if you’ve settled in for the full day, as the restaurant serves up breakfasts, lunches and dinners to have on the terrace, or pizza to take away. The terrace is also the setting for music evenings every Wednesday and Saturday from mid June to the end of August. Self-catering sorts are welcome to fire up a barbecue here; all the necessaries are on the shelves of the site’s well-stocked mini market, which also takes a welcome daily delivery of freshly baked bread.

Ligging tov Sirmione, Peschiera met goed fietspad te bereiken.
Auto hoeft niet op de plek te staan, maar kan ook op parkeerplaats binnen het afgesloten terrein.

Disliked De plekken die niet gelijk aan het water liggen zijn niet super groot (ongeveer 8x7)
Badmuts nodig voor het zwembad.
Veel kiezels op de plek is niet fijn voor een tent( haringen gaan wel aardig de grond in)

Liked Fajny kamping położony nad samym jeziorem do centrum jest kawałek ,ale za to jest sklep i restauracja która oferuje bardzo dobre jedzenie jest też basen .

Liked Really friendly and helpful staff. Excellent lunch menu for €15. Pizzas well made too. Modern toilet block that was spotless. Beautiful location right on the lake. Bus stop close by so that you can explore the area easily. Crazy evening pool party that our son enjoyed. We stayed 5 nights but could have stayed for 2 weeks.

Liked Fint läge men ingen badmöjlighet i Gardasjön.

Disliked När vi skulle checka in så mottogs vi av en man i 50-55 års åldern, han sa finns ingen bokning.... dvs du har inte bokat sa han till mig. Visste att jag bokat via pitchup. Men han sa bara finns ingen bokning. Pengar va draget från mitt kort, han va ointresserad av mitt bokningsnr. Tillslut hitta han vår bokning, ingen ursäkt inte ett ljud, allmänna otrevlig. Vill att campingen skall veta vem det är, därför skriver jag att han inte hade nåt hår.

Liked Na campingu mieliśmy parcelę z widokiem na jezioro , w pierwszej lini brzegowej i to był dodatkowy atut. Obiekt godny polecenia, obsługa bardzo pomocna, sklep dobrze wyposażony, restauracja, basen. Obiekt sanitarny w bardzo wysokim standardzie i czysty. Ogólna ocena bardzo, bardzo dobra.

Disliked Jedyny minus.... nazajutrz po rozbiciu przyczepy musieliśmy zmienić parcelę bo ktoś w recepcji nie dopatrzył że ta konkretna jest zarezerwowana. Ale dostałem możliwość wyboru innej w podobnym standardzie (cień, widok na wodę itd). Oczywiście za niedogodności zostaliśmy przeproszeni, takie rzeczy się zdarzają.

Liked De campeerplaats. Klein, maar mooie ligging aan het water. Schaduwrijke pitch.

Disliked Wifi verbinding werkt niet aan het water.wel vlakbij de bar en aan de receptie
Hopelijk worden de andere sanitaire blokken ook snel vernieuwd. Steiger was mooi, maar niet ideaal om daar te gaan zwemmen

Liked Der Campingplatz liegt direkt am See mit direkten Zugang,.
Sehr ruhiger Campingplatz.
Der Campingplatz ist super für Hundebesitzer, es gibt keine Einschränkungen wo man mit dem Hunde nicht rein darf.
Saubere Sanitäranlagen, sind zwar in die Jahre gekommen aber für uns war es ok.
Zu den Betreiber vom Campingplatz ist zu sagen das sie sehr freundlich und entgegenkommen sind.
Habe den Campingplatz für 4 Tage gebucht und bezahlt,mußten aber einen Tag später wieder Abreisen wegen Krankheit,sind nach zwei tage zurück gekommen und haben nicht nochmals bezahlt müssen.
Das ist für uns eine super entgegenkommen Dankeschön dafür.

Es gibt einen Steg am See,der sollte mal repariert werden viel Lose und kaputte Latten.
Die Sanitäranlagen sollten auch mal renoviert werden.

Liked - sanitair langs onze kant (ander was iets minder)
- de ligging (dichtbij de prachtige stadjes Sirmione, Lazise, Peschiera, ...)
- het eten en de bediening in het restaurant
- de behulpzaamheid van het personeel bij een hevige onweersbui

Disliked - het vroeger sluiten van het zwembad om 18u45 ipv 19u
- het niet op de website of op de mail melden van het verplicht dragen van een badmuts in het zwembad
- we hadden uitzicht op het meer gereserveerd, maar we stonden op de tweede rij waardoor weinig uitzicht op het meer.

If staring at the stunning lake waters hasn’t quite sent you into the desired state of relaxation just yet, help things along a little with a spa soak at Terme di Sirmione (five minutes’ drive) or Terme Di Colà (15 minutes).
