Liked: The view as I was on a mountain side looking over the Lake and snow capped mountains. It was warm, sunlit and the foods and drinks were gaspingly refreshing. Good helpful staff and good clean facilities.

Disliked: As a satnav doesn’t understand heights with levels, found camp higher up by 2km, but that’s not the camps fault

Liked: Am liebsten wurde ich schreiben, dass alles ziemlich schlecht war... nur um nächstes Jahr wieder einen Platz zu bekommen ;) aber ich muss einfach sagen, sehr schöner Platz, alles sauber, sehr freundliches Personal, leckeres Restaurant. Alles sehr grün! Wundervoller Ausblick mit dem richtigen Stellplatz. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Disliked: Eher nichts für große Wohnmobile oder Anhänger. Enge Zufahrt und Wendemöglichkeit. Enge Serpentinenauffahrt.

Disliked: On étaient proche de la route on a étendue les voitures, et le restaurant était fermé le lundi on l à su qu en arrivant. Et le check de sorti est prévu plutôt que ce qu il est noté sur le site.

Local attractions

With mile upon mile of crystal-clear water lapping at its banks, Lake Garda (15 minutes' drive) is a classic spot for lazing around. If you don't want to lose sight of Italy's largest lake, take yourself off for a round at Golf Bogliaco (20 minutes) or peruse the grand gardens of Villa Bettoni (15 minutes) before heading to Gargnano's ferry port (15 minutes) and sailing off to villages across the water in Veneto. While Lake Garda may be the biggest draw around these parts, you'd be silly to sideline other (quieter) lakes like Lago di Valvestino (15 minutes) and Lago d'Idro (40 minutes). It's also well worth exploring some of the local bike and hiking trails; put aside a few hours and set out from site for a jaunt to San Valentino hermitage, or drive 40 minutes to Monte Stino for rambles full of nature and seclusion. If you want a change of scene, urban outings to Brescia (an hour) should have a lot to please your travel tribe, whether they're in the mood for snapping its pretty piazzas and churches or rummaging for bargains in weekly markets.

Arrivals and departures

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available pitch on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 7 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Extras

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
Quiet (afternoon) hours must be respected between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m..
Quiet hours must be respected between 12 a.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Occupancy

No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
Single-sex bookings of 19 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Pitches

A cable measuring at least 3 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.

Reception

Reception is open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. between 01/06 and 01/09.
Reception is unmanned after 6 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
No electric barbecues allowed.
Please do not touch or feed the animals.

Taxes

Local city/eco tax is included in the rate.

Vehicles

The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. Cars are not permitted when travelling with a motorhome/campervan.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
