Need somewhere to stop off on a long journey along the E80? Or perhaps you’re looking to stick around a little longer so you can explore the lovely Liguria coastline? Either way, the peaceful Camper Village, surrounded by greenery on the edge of Santo Stefano al Mare, makes a great place to park up for a night or few. Come along here and you’ll be staying in the cool shade of centuries-old olive trees, with a swimming pool that’s open in the summer months for guests to have a refreshing dip after a day out (or just whenever you fancy it). There are also padel tennis courts on site where you can challenge fellow guests to a game. Those aren’t the only options for an active day, however – it’s about two kilometres from the site to the seafront for watersports, boat hire and access to the coastal bike path (which runs for 27 kilometres from Imperia to Ospedaletti). And don’t worry if you're just after a relaxing day – there’s a beach down here too for swims and sunbathing. Getting down to the town’s attractions, shops and restaurants will take you about half an hour on foot (10 minutes by bike or five minutes in the car), but during the summer by far the easiest way is to hop on the shuttle bus that runs from the site throughout the day, thus saving you a long walk or the need to find a parking space. There are several places to eat out in town, but you can also pick up ingredients from the supermarket and use the site’s barbecue and picnic area.

  • Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
  • A cable measuring at least 11 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
  • The outdoor swimming pool is open between 01/06 and 15/09 (subject to weather conditions).
  • Reception is unmanned after 6:30 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.
  • From 01 June to 15 September, access to the pool is included for touring pitches. For tent pitches, access to the swimming pool is not included and costs €3 per day. A charge of €1 per 5 minutes applies for the use of the shower.

Non si possono pulire i bagni lasciandoli bagnatissimo,
Basterebbe strizzare di più lo straccio.
Inoltre si possono pulire lasciando la possibilità di accedere.
Chiudere i bagni e impedirne l'accesso non ha senso

Liked Lovely and rural, feels like you are in the real Italy. Very quiet, but obviously the time of year.
Had to pay €1 for the shower for 5 minutes, but they we powerful and clean.

Disliked Narrow, single track winding road to get to the Camping Village, not good when you meet scooters flying around.
The electrics are really poor! We were constantly tripping but as hubby said, it is in the middle of nowhere, so don't rely on it.
There is a pool and bar in the summer but there was nothing in October.
Not recommended for anything over 7m as vert tight spaces and entry Road.

Liked Site is great nice size pitches great bike rides to the beach and along.toilet blocks nice and clean and showers hot(1euro).really enjoyed the stop over.

Disliked Nothing really,only gripe if anything was the electric tripped but we have a gas kettle so no problem!!!

Local attractions

Start with a wander through the medieval streets of Santo Stefano al Mare, visiting the Museo Relitto Romano before heading down to the harbour to see the traditional fishing boats and find local restaurants. Boat rentals and windsurf kit hire are among the amenities to help you get out on the water if you want to. A bike ride (or a walk) along the Pista Ciclabile della Riviera dei Fiori is a good way to see some of the coastline up close, or you could head straight to either Sanremo, to wander through the historic La Pigna district, or Imperia, to visit the eccentric Villa Grock and find whale-watching tours. Both are about 20 minutes’ drive away. Elsewhere nearby, you could stop by at Bussana Vecchia (20 minutes' drive) to see a former ghost town brought back to life as an artists’ village, or visit Dolceacqua’s Castello dei Doria and other intriguing architecture (50 minutes).
