Sun? Sea? Sand? Pine forest setting? Have an Italian and Ravenna province seaside vacanze at Villaggio Rivaverde to access the whole heap. A few minutes' drive from the Emilia Romagna resort and town of Marina di Ravenna and 12 kilometres from Ravenna, Villaggio Rivaverde is an excellently-equipped family site in a thick green pine forest, a short amble from the beach. Fishing, surfing, sailing and diving excursions to the famed wreck and artifical reef of Paguro are all close by; staff will happily help out with booking these and other trips. You won't have to lift a finger when staying here to be entertained from dawn to dusk to dawn again: entertainment and activities such as Latin dances, sports tournaments and games run all day and into the evening, and if you're still in party mode after that you can strut your stuff all night in the Marina di Ravenna bars and nightclubs. Should you require a more relaxing time (perhaps after strutting your stuff all night in the Marina di Ravenna bars and nightclubs), there are two beaches next to the site, one free and non-equipped, and one serviced, with sunbeds and umbrellas. There's also a pool to plunge into or lounge alongside, a playground to occupy the kids, and sports areas for when you might be feeling a little more active. Relaxing times are yours for sustenance too: the park has a pizzeria for properly Italian eats, as well as a fine big restaurant and a handsome bar.

Local attractions

Villaggio Rivaverde is on the edge of the spectacular Po Delta Regional Park, a land of nature spotting and birdwatching (there be flamingos), wetlands and forests, and several cycling trails around its varied habitats. Hiking, canoeing and horse riding are all available too. For a city (and essential) day's sightseeing, drive 15 minutes or take the bus for 20 to reach the fab and ancient city of Ravenna, once capital of the Western Roman empire, probably the most famed city in the world for mosaics and now home to several World Heritage Sites. Among its many highlights are the sixth-century Basilica di Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, the elaborate tomb of the Mausoleum of Theoderic, and the San Vitale Church with its Byzantine mosaics: you'll need to spend at least a couple of days. The theme park and waterpark of Mirabilandia is 20 minutes' drive away: book discounted tickets for your day there at the Villaggio Rivaverde reception.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Extras

Entertainment passes are included in the rate.

General

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
Entertainment and activities are available between 01/06 and 31/08.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
