Liked We enjoyed staying there. Pompei was very interesting and the view to the vesuv is good.

Disliked The race for warm water was athletic. 50 cent for 3 minutes warm water was not real. The cash point for the money is out of the cabines. You need a second person or more money to get a warm shower.

Liked Die Aussicht auf den Vesuv ist sehr schön, da der Stellplatz sehr gut gelegen ist. Strom und Wasser direkt am Stellplatz. Gepflegtes Äußeres.

Disliked Die Duschräume muss man mögen. Wir fanden sie sehr ungepflegt. Das System mit dem Geldeinwurf sollte überdacht werden. Dann lieber pauschal ein paar Euro mehr nehmen.
24 h An- und Abreise, ist für die, welche dort schlafen, sehr anstrengend und nervend.

Local attractions

The Archaeological Park of Pompeii (15 minutes’ walk) must of course be your first port of call. The city was famously buried in ash when Vesuvius erupted in 79AD, and it’s now one of the world’s best-preserved Roman ruins, with amphitheatres, baths, temples, colourful villas and lots more to see. Vesuvius itself (10 minutes’ drive) is well worth a visit as well. Vesuvius National Park has 11 different marked trails to follow, including the Gran Cono trail that takes you up to the crater. For more of the area’s history, head on to the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum (half an hour) or check out La Trinità della Cava (35 minutes), a Benedictine abbey in the woods. For some seaside time, top picks include Torre del Greco (25 minutes), Castellammare di Stabia (25 minutes) or classy Sorrento (55 minutes). The museums, catacombs and Ovo Castle in Naples (half an hour) should be on the menu too – and of course a slice of pizza in the place that invented it.
