Liked Piscine agréable, respect, belle vie, accueil irréprochable. Tout est propre, un abri pratique pour se regrouper.

Liked The campsite manager was very friendly and helpful, as were all staff.
The pool was clean and pleasant as was the pool area.
The safari tent was comfortable and clean, with sufficient kitchen equipment, fridge with little freezer. There was a little market (two vans) that came on one of the days, which was nice. The bouncy castle for the kids was a nice touch. Fresh baked goods can be ordered for the next morning (other than for Monday morning as the bakery is closed).
It is a pleasant rural campsite (with very few British - which is nice). We felt very much like we were in proper France. Lots of water points, so easy access to drinking water.

Disliked The toilets, although they are cleaned frequently, are quite basic and the floors got quite dirty - though the site provide a hose and mop for users to clean, so fellow users are more to blame than the campsite.
The showers weren't very powerful, but were sufficient to clean. The lights are on a timer/sensor, so turn off half way through washing up and you have to dance to turn them on again, but it's better for the environment and reduces bugs/mosquitoes.

Local attractions

Want to start by exploring the local countryside? There are plenty of places to get out for a walk or bike ride nearby, either from the site or from local villages, and a couple of equestrian centres just outside Faramans for those who’d like to tour on horseback. More challenging hikes can be found by driving an hour or so east to the Vercors and Chartreuse mountains or travelling a similar distance west to the Pilat Regional Natural Park. Mix in a bit of urban time with a day exploring the museums and historic streets of Lyon (an hour’s drive) or going up to Grenoble (45 minutes) to ride the bubble-style cable car up to the Bastille fortress. On a much smaller scale is the village of Saint-Antoine-l’Abbaye (35 minutes), one of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France for its medieval abbey and half-timbered houses. Family days out are in good supply around here too: try the waterslides at Aqualib’ (10 minutes), the treetop trails and ziplines at Parc Oasis Aventura (20 minutes), the wildlife trails at Safari de Peaugres (45 minutes) or the rides at Walibi Rhône-Alpes (50 minutes). It’s also really worth making a trip to Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval (25 minutes), an extraordinary building constructed by one man over 33 years, mainly using stones picked up on his post round.
