What customers say

Visitors praise the stunning scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and well-maintained pitches, many of which are large and shaded. The campsite's proximity to walking and biking trails and a lovely town with amenities is a significant advantage. However, a considerable number of reviews highlight concerns regarding the toilets and showers, with one reviewer stating they "seriously need rebuilding" and lack supplies like toilet paper. The absence of WiFi was also noted.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked We stayed here at the end of June sadly only for one night as a part of a tour of the Alps. In all 11 destinations this was our favourite. Stunning scenery, immaculate showers and the loo had mountain views. Peaceful site, large shaded pitches useful with a german shepherd. Great dog walk with a river just off site. Town nearby is lovely

Disliked Nothing. Will be back as soon as we can

Electric optional hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked The pitches were great.

Disliked Honestly the Toilets & Showers were terrible. They all need to be rebuilt now. I can't believe that none of them had any toilet paper or supplies.!

Local attractions

Exploring on foot or two wheels is a fabulous idea if you’re here in summer. Gentle strolls and bike rides might take you on a circuit of Lac de Flérier (15 minutes’ walk) or along the easygoing Au fil du Giffre riverside green route. For more extensive hikes, try the Marcelly Loop or the circular trail at Plateau de Loëx (both half an hour’s drive). Other ways to take in your surroundings include horse riding, rafting, paragliding and canyoning – the team at reception can put you in touch with trusted providers. In winter, Praz de Lys Sommand (20 minutes) is the place to take your skis, and there are also dog sledding lessons and snowshoeing outings nearby. For a gentler day out, learn about snail farming at l'escargotière d’Arno (five minutes), see a fabulous collection of clocks at Musée de l'horlogerie et du décolletage (15 minutes) or wander through the botanical garden at Jaÿsinia (20 minutes). You could also have a day in Annecy (an hour) to kayak on the lake, stroll through the pretty streets and see the famed Le Palais de I’Île.
