Camping Le Moulin des Iscles

So, to the sea… a drive of 15 minutes or so should get you to Saint Aygulf, where the beach caters to all sorts – there are family-friendly, dog-friendly and naturist sections and there’s often enough of a breeze to let the kitesurfers do their thing. Snorkellers and sailors will want to aim instead for the coves and creeks around Les Issambres, while those who like smartly groomed and serviced sands should take a foray to Fréjus (both are 20 minutes away by car). If you’ve not yet exhausted the thirst for aquatic activity, scoot over to the slides of Aqualand waterpark (15 minutes); if it’s time for a dry day out, take a look at Luna Park amusement park (15 minutes) or meet the mammals, birds and reptiles at Fréjus Zoo (20 minutes). Sweet-toothed sorts will of course want to swing by the Maison du Chocolat et Cacao museum once back in Roquebrune. For more active times, there are games of golf 10 minutes away, treetop clambering at Provence Aventure (half an hour's drive) and the chance to see it all from way, way up in the air at the skydiving centre in Saint-Paul-en-Forêt (half an hour).
