Liked Everything was excellent on this site. We were only meant to stay for one night but it was so enjoyable that we stayed for 5 days. Our stay was during the off peak period so many of the site facilities were closed but that was fine with us. There was a small convenience store just a 3 minute drive away or a supermarket 6 minutes drive. Site manager was really pleasant and spoke perfect English. We will definitely be returning to this site

Liked A beautiful site in a natural setting. Each pitch is large and has water and electricity. The lake is a lovely bonus. The outdoor heated swimming pool was great fun for our granddaughters. The site was peaceful and quiet even at the height of summer. The restaurant and bar were situated in the old manor buildings and were well run with friendly service. Free use of the pedal go carts was an enormous hit. Toilet and shower facilities were spotless.
We discovered Le Calvaire de Pere du Montfort, The Calvary of Pont-Chateau just down the road. This amazing Calgary dating back to 1710 is well worth a visit.
Disliked It is very rural so not easy to get to any other attractions.

Liked L'accueil, très chaleureux.
Lorsque je suis arrivé, il faisait bien chaud, j'ai demandé s'il serait possible d'aboir un emplacement ombragé, le gérant a accédé à ma demande, et m'a proposé l'emplacement probablement le plus ombragé de tout le camping 🙂...
Les sanitaires, propres et fonctionnels (attention, un seul bloc, donc il peut y avoir un peu de marche, mais ça reste correct)
La piscine, dont j'ai pu bénéficier seul le matin (chanceux !)...
Le petit plan d'eau en contrebas des emplacements, qui donne une ambiance vraiment sympa en soirée...
Disliked La "platitude" des emplacements... Étant en camping car, j'ai dû sortir les cales... Une majorité des emplacements est situé à flanc de colline, donc pas forcément toujours très plat...(Ce n'est pas l'Alpe d'Huez non plus, heureusement 🙂)...
L'emplacement de la piscine, du bar et du resto, légèrement séparés du camping...

Nous sommes heureux de savoir que vous avez passé un bon séjour, bien que certains emplacements ne soient pas plats, mais c'est ce qui fait également le charme des lieux. Le fait que la piscine, bar et restaurant soient séparés du camping, est un désavantage pour certains car il faut marcher pour s'y rendre, d'un autre coté l'avantage est que cela réduit le bruit sur le camping.

Liked Great weather, fabulous site - we were lake side. Restaurant and bar very friendly people, lovely lady served us.. Our stay included a slightly grumpy goose, we named her Gertie. We found her ok if ignored or spoke to her nicely oh, and bread!!
Bathrooms clean and tidy, site tidy. Wifi is very random, my connection good, husband's rubbish. Would recommend.

Liked Calme, nature, bien ombragé, accueil, entretien, propreté. Tout. Animations en dehors du camping pour garder au calme, piscine à toute proximité, assez de sanitaires et douches, coin vaisselle à part, grandes machines à laver et sèches linge, douche et sanitaire PMR, et baignoire avec plan de change bébé. Tout pour le bien être. Je recommande fortement
