Stopoffs at Calais on your way to and from Boulogne, Saint-Omer and other parts of France are a cinch at this lush and serene site – as are longer stays too, for Camping Caravanning Pommiers des Trois Pays has several cycling routes and footpaths right by its entrance for walking and cycling tours of the national parkland around. From early April to mid September, the site has a heated indoor pool with a retractable roof. Around the site, other facilities include a pétanque court and, just for kids, a playground. A bouncy castle and games room are also available from early April to mid September. While the small peeps are off being highly amused elsewhere, grownups can make the most of their free time with wanders around the site, after which they can head to the bar to settle back, tipple in hand, as they carefreely survey the pooltime antics from the shaded terrace. A restaurant (open from early April to mid September) is next to the bar, offering a takeaway service in case you can’t be faffed to cook. If you can, pick up supplies locally and grill yourself something highly tasty at your pitch, because barbecues are actively encouraged around here.

Liked good site big pitches safety going in and out close to ferry port nice warm pool clean and tidy

Disliked only two toilets and no no shower after 10pm no noise after 6 which i think is abit early

Liked Restaurant accueillant et chaleureux, il propose pas mal de choses pour un petit restaurant et les prix sont plutôt raisonnable.

Nombreuses activités pour les enfants, comme pour les grands (pleine de jeu, château gonflable, salle de jeu, piscine, terrain de pétanque, terrain de volley).

Animaux autorisés et accès à un parc de promenade pour chiens.

Disliked Le personnel de l’accueil n’est pas très accueillant et ne fait preuve d’aucune présence au sein du camping.

Les sentiers ne sont pas entretenus (trou, mauvaises herbes, pommes pourries et déchets).

Les emplacements sont attribués n’importe comment, le personnel ne prend même pas la peine de regarder les informations fournies lors de la réservation (nombre de personnes et nombre de véhicules). De plus, ils ne sont pas très bien entretenus (trou rebouché n’importe comment) et manque d’intimité (la délimitation des emplacements n’est pas respectée, les enfants du camping se permettent de venir courir sur les parcelles, de se cacher sous les voitures, de taper sur les tentes en pleine nuit, …).

Les communs sont plutôt vétuste et ne sont pas super bien entretenus.

La piscine ferme assez tôt …

La salle de jeu n’est pas éclairé et les jeux proposés sont très vétuste.

Accès au wifi inexistant et réseau mobile limité car pas beaucoup de réseau.

Il n’y a pas grand chose à faire à proximité, il faut toujours aller jusqu’à Boulogne sur mer pour pouvoir avoir accès au commerce et activités.

En bref, camping très décevant pour un soit disant 4 étoiles.

Liked Super camping, avec une très bonne ambiance et un accueil chaleureux. Les propriétaires sont vraiment très agréables, de bons conseils et très compréhensifs.

Malheureusement, nous avons dû écourter notre séjour à cause d’un problème familial et partir précipitamment. Les propriétaires ont été très compréhensifs face à notre situation et nous les en remercions sincèrement.

Nous étions en caravane : les emplacements sont grands, avec des points d’eau, le camping est calme et les animaux sont acceptés, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Les douches sont propres et le petit restaurant dans le camping est un vrai plus.

Nous n’avons malheureusement pas eu le temps de profiter de la piscine, mais elle avait l’air très agréable.

Une chose est sûre : nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir pour profiter pleinement du camping cette fois-ci ! 😊

Liked Really nice vibe to site and very friendly owners. Nice pool. Cute cafe although didn’t have chance to eat there. Would definitely return.

Disliked Toilet roll running out in toilets. Also need some hand soap installed for after toilets. Simple fixes that would have earned a 10/10

Liked Location good for travelling to & from uk. Quiet after 10 everyone respected quiet time. Pitches very good size.

Disliked Lots of teenagers running around swimming area which is unsupervised. However this should be down to parents not staff, they were not rude or intimidating just loud. Toilets typical French quite rural but we found them clean although no soap or toilet roll.

Free WiFi for 2 hours then there is a charge

Disliked Shower facilities in need of an upgrade
Pool became very rowdy as it is unsupervised and there are lots of plants surrounding the edge of the pool making it cramped to walk around.
We were woken at 6am by young adults leaving - very disruptive

The site entrance is crossed by cycling and walking trails that take you into the surrounding locale, and almost 300 kilometres of waymarked trails are around the Caps et Marais d'Opale Natural Regional Park. The hilly surrounds are tiptop territory for bike rides: hire wheels on site to get pedalling. Several other activities are in the area: trails through the Guînes forest, treetop exploring at Opalaventure (40 minutes away). Keen anglers can go trout fishing around the ponds near Courtebourne (a kilometre away). Several historic hotspots and attractions are within a short and simple drive of the site, like the reconstructed bygone village of Saint Joseph with its clock tower; the Rando-Rail from Nielles-lès-Bléquin for highly scenic hand-powered tours along a disused railway line; and Dennlys Parc for 30 squeal-inducing family attractions, shows and water rides. The Nausicaä aquarium in Boulogne-sur-Mer is where you can whisk wee ones off to goggle at sharks, sea lions and heaps of other sea-dwelling critters.
