What customers say
This campsite receives praise for its spotless facilities, including a pool and play area, and its friendly, English-speaking staff who are helpful even during challenging events like road closures. Guests appreciate the clean showers and toilets, good-sized pitches, and pleasant atmosphere. The location is noted as convenient for exploring nearby areas. Some guests experienced rocky or uneven pitches, and WiFi incurs an additional charge. A few found the bar area closed or the shower block in need of updating.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The fact that there was a tasteful family orientated restaurant bar across the road from campsite called Mont- Noir Altitude .152
It was refeshing and very friendly. The campsite was well attended at the busy season so good to have a choice of bars available
Disliked Pitch 29.. had open sewage and it become very smelly
Did not understand why we had to pay an extra 19 euros for taxes .. seemed expensive ontop of prepayment

Nice site, well priced and in handy location for Dover and Dunkerque.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Location, swimming pool, entertainment and price. Stayed here a week with 16 and 11 year old. 11yo wants to go back next year. She loved the swimming pool and evening entertainment. Although it's only a small site, there are plenty of things to do... swimming pool and bar, small playground and outdoor gym equipment, multisports pitch, table tennis tables (and we bought a bat and balls set at the garden centre in the local town for €2.70), boules/petanque pitches, pool table. I think it also claims to have a restaurant but it doesn't really. I only saw a sign advertising a couple of panini. However, they do have visiting food vans and we had some lovely Caribbean chicken and rice one night. It's a 5 minute walk into the local town, which is half in France and half in Belgium. It's not a "normal" town though. It's a sort of weird version of Matlock Bath. It's mostly pubs and restaurants, but there is also the previously mentioned garden centre, another sort of homeware and garden place, a big shop that's like a cross between a poundshop, a local DIY shop and The Range, a couple of friteries (one of which wouldn't sell me any frites), a few strange souvenir shops (that obviously don't sell much as some things are about 30 years old and in very faded packaging, but if you need a photo frame for a baby born in 2000 you'll find it here), an amusement arcade, a tattooist and an "erotic store". There is also a cash machine. At the far end of the town there is a chair lift ride, a vineyard and a mini golf place. There are other, more normal, towns within a 10 minute drive in all directions, in France and Belgium. It's also only 20 minutes from Ypres.
Disliked Hard, rocky pitch but maybe not all the same. Would benefit from more toilets as sometimes had to queue when the large group of school children were staying there. Some people have mentioned the lack of toilet paper but, in my experience, this is normal for many French campsites so just take your own. This is not something which bothers me. I'm also not sure how good the wifi is. I tried the 10 mins free but it was very slow so I didn't pay for any. Maybe it's just my phone though.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely little site.
When we arrived the our LWB camper was too long to swing into our pitch however a new pitch was sorted for us straight away.
Really lovely swimming pool/ bar area. Great kids play ground.
Disliked WiFi was available but at an additional charge. In the world we live in, WiFi is almost expected these days.

Disliked Pitch was very rocky, had to pitch our tent quite far down as it was impossible tog get pegs in. Thankfully it was spacious enough to allow this but still annoying.
