Liked We had such a fantastic stay at this campsite! The location under the beautiful oak trees made everything feel peaceful and shaded, even on the hottest days. The pool area was amazing – with fun water slides that kept both the kids and adults entertained for hours. There was always something to do, thanks to the wide range of activities and evening entertainment. The atmosphere was lively but still relaxing, and the staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. It’s the perfect place for families who want both adventure and relaxation in a natural setting. We’ll definitely be coming back! 🌳💦✨

Liked L'emplacement grand et ombrageux en milieu d'aprèm. L'isolement du camping. L'absence d'éclairage en continue la nuit. L'accueil et l'amabilité des employés. Le nb d'activités proposées. Propreté des sanitaires. La présence sur place d'un bar et d'un "restau".

Disliked Le mini golf est à rénover. Rien n'est droit.

Local attractions

The on-site attractions will likely keep you busy for much of your time here, but it's worth factoring in some time to explore the area too. The site is in the Gorges de la Cère, a gorgeous natural setting with several lovely walks nearby – the Lac Sauvage loop and the Lac des Vergnes trail are a couple of favourites. You can go canoeing on the Cère or the Dordogne within a half-hour drive, or visit Lac du Tolerme (20 minutes’ drive) for watersports, swimming and walking trails. Natural landmarks to visit include the Grottes de Presque (35 minutes) and Gouffre de Padirac (45 minutes), and there are manmade attractions like the atmospheric Tours de Merle (35 minutes) and the clifftop Château des Anglais (40 minutes), with some attractive waterfalls nearby. This area is packed with pretty villages to wander around – places like Curemonte (55 minutes), Collonges-la-Rouge (an hour) and Turenne (an hour) are all worth spending time in. Rocamadour (an hour), clinging to a cliff, is a must-visit, and has Monkey Forest close by for the kids.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Unsupervised minors must have a letter of authorisation from their parents or legal guardian.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
Entertainment and activities are available between 01/07 and 31/08.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: €150.00 (£126.18) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of €60.00 (£50.47) will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Occupancy

No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Pitches

You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 01/07 and 06/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
Open fires are prohibited.
Swimming in the lake is allowed.

Vehicles

Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
