What customers say

This campsite is praised for its calm, natural setting and friendly, welcoming owners. Guests highlight the excellent natural surroundings, clean and well-equipped facilities, and spacious pitches. The location is ideal for exploring the Cele and Lot valleys. While the village itself lacks shops, requiring a drive for groceries, guests found the overall experience relaxing and enjoyable, appreciating the hosts' exceptional service. Sanitary facilities are noted as needing a refresh but are kept clean.

Electric optional grass pitch

Electric optional grass pitch

Liked Friendly welcome from the owners both on arrival and in the bar area at night.

Great size pitches and given that we were early in the season, we were able to choose the one we liked.

Well located for exploring the Cele and Lot valleys including a visit to the Grotte to Peche Merle and also St Cirque la Popie - both of which I would highly recommend.

Nice to see that the aforementioned bar was open during our stay, even though we were early in the season - with a good selection of beers and wines.

Local attractions

If you’ve an interest in history, step back to Neolithic times with a visit to the burial chamber at Dolmen du Rat, or marvel at the extraordinary fortress remains clinging to the cliffside at Château des Anglais (both 10 minutes’ drive). There are lots of historic villages to check out too, starting with your home base of Saint-Sulpice, with its mellow-stone cottages topped with red roofs set against a steep cliffside. However, this region of the Lot is often associated with hardcore sports; you can go canoeing and kayaking along the river, or hiking, cycling and rock climbing in the surrounding hills. The subterranean cave diving at Emergence du Ressel (five minutes) is perhaps one activity best left to the experts. There are gentler adventures to be had exploring the Grottes de Lacave (55 minutes), a Jurassic-era cave system that you can trundle through on a mini electric train, but if that’s too tame for the kids, take them to Figeac Parc Aventures (35 minutes) to test their skills on high ropes and zipwires.
