What customers say

This campsite offers a stunning riverside location with a beautiful pool and direct beach access. Visitors praised the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and well-maintained grounds. The spacious, shaded pitches with electricity and water access were also highlighted. Activities like canoeing and the children's club were popular. While some found the location remote and noted occasional WiFi issues and limited restaurant options, the overall sentiment was very positive, with many recommending the site for its excellent value and atmosphere.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Loved the swimming pool and river beach. The river with its natural/ man made rapids, rope swings etc, was good fun. Our children loved the rapids- take your inflatables!!. The amenities closest to the river were the best kept and clean. Bar was nice.

Disliked Location- we should’ve researched more as well but limited on access for biking and hiking with young children- you need a car really. The restaurant was limited at times. One evening we were told there wasn’t enough food even though the restaurant was empty- due to later bookings, so we had to go out for food. Had to do some work while there and couldn’t as the wifi was broken and down the whole time we stayed which was quite frustrating they were trying to fix it but didn’t while we were there.

Local attractions

If you didn’t drive across the Millau Viaduct (half an hour’s drive) to get to Camping Les Prades, it’s surely worth a trip to see its famed spans soaring above the Tarn Gorge on spindly supports. Designed by UK architect Lord Norman Foster in 2004, the bridge sits close to Peyre (35 minutes), one of France’s cutest villages and well worth a visit for its mellow-stone riverside houses straggling up cliffs. As well as sporty pastimes, the rocky Tarn Gorge is known for its spectacular winding drive, leading to medieval towns like Roquefort (stop off to buy some of its famed blue cheese). Visit pretty waterside Sainte-Enimie (both 50 minutes) to see ancient houses clinging to the river banks, or take a boat cruise down the Tarn from La Malène (40 minutes). With many pretty villages and landmark castles like Château de Mélac (40 minutes), the Grands Causses Regional Natural Park (35 minutes) is an area of dramatic limestone plateaux and deep gorges, with hiking and cycling routes for all levels of ability.
