Only ten kilometres from Gérardmer in the Vosges region and an amazing 730 metres above sea level, Flower Camping La Sténiole invites you to spend a fabulous holiday surrounded by nature. Come and smell the perfume of the pinewood, take a look at the spectacular waterfalls and streams, and enjoy 20 acres of beautiful land. The site has a small pond for swimming and another for trout fishing, and there's plenty more to see and do both on site and in the surrounding area. Guests have also access to our heated indoor swimming-pool open from mid June to mid September.

The facilities include a children's playground with a bouncy castle, slide, swings, a climbing rope, a sandpit, and trampolines. There is also a tennis tables, a tennis and volleyball court, and a pétanque court.

Campfires are allowed so bring your marshmallows or get delicious sausages from the local butcher.

From May to September, come to the restaurant and try one of the delicious pizzas. There is a real wood-fired oven.

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the terms and conditions.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the campsite must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Arrivals and departures
Late arrivals must notify the campsite/park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
We do not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.
We do not accept breeds/crossbreeds of Staffordshire terrier, pit bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

A motorbike can be brought instead of the car included.

Entertainment and activities are available between 15/07 and 15/08.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The bar and/or restaurant is open between 01/07 and 31/08.
The grocery shop is open between 01/07 and 31/08.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
Total silence must be respected between 11pm and 7am.

Hired accommodation
Hired accommodation: €100 damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy, a fine of €60 will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Only campsite guests are authorised to use the pool.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 09/04 and 15/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception is open from 8am to 7pm between 01/06 and 31/08.
Reception is open from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm between 01/04 and 31/05.
Reception is open from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm between 01/06/2016 and 31/08/2016.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Local eco/city tax of €0.20 per night per child aged 7-17 and €0.80 per person over the age of 18 per night is not included and must be paid on arrival.

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
No cars by the pitch/unit. All cars must be parked in the designated area.
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra cars must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the relevant extra.

Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.

Additional terms

Barbecues and campfires allowed except during period of extreme drought.

No-kill fishing zone. Please catch and release.
