Liked Sehr freundliche Betreiber, sauberes Pool und sanitäre Einrichtungen

Disliked Wir hatten leider den Platz am Trampolin (ohne kleineres Kind), ganz nah an der Straße und mit wenig Schatten, daher immer nachfragen und genau reservieren, denn es gibt dort schöne schattige Plätze!

Liked The friendly reception from the owners. They were very helpful.
The pool area was lovely. Showers were fine. Close to town and pleasant walk there.

Disliked Our pitch smelt of stale, human urine. We were at the bottom of a wall so I think previous visitors had used it as a toilet. Very busy road so very loud sound of traffic.
Our least favourite site out of a month of travelling around the country.

Liked Beautiful position, quiet and peaceful. Easy walk along to the village. Beach 2 mins away and we a lovely swim in the river. Also an excellent pool with no one in it. Friendly welcome with reception always open and food and drinks offered

Disliked Little bit of traffic noise - but impossible to escape that in a valley/gorge

It’s highly likely that those gorgeous surrounds will tempt you out for a closer look with some fresh-air activities, and there are plenty to pick from. Hikes and mountain bike rides for all abilities can be accessed nearby, including a 12-kilometre jaunt that starts just outside the site. Something else in mind? Have a chat with site staff who can put you in touch with folk who run canyoning, caving, paragliding and via ferrata climbing days, or spectacular days of canoeing/kayaking through the Gorges du Tarn (an hour's drive away). The Cévennes Evasion adventure park is 10 minutes’ drive away for those who’d like to take a view from up in the treetops. Back down at ground level, there are stunning caves to see at Aven Armand (50 minutes’ drive) and Dargilan (just over an hour), native beasts to meet at the Gévaudan Wolf Park (50 minutes) and a fab art/nature/amusement park at Le Vallon du Villaret (50 minutes). The Cevennes steam train is around an hour’s drive away for those who’d like to chug gently through the scenery.
