Liked Le camping est propre et très bien entretenu.

Disliked Cadre soigné, propre, calme… jusqu'à l'arrivée d'un groupe particulièrement bruyant qui a sévi avec intervention du camping trop tardive. Le numéro d'urgence affiché hors horaires ? Totalement injoignable pour une urgence. Le réseau en serait la cause (allez chez Orange, ça fonctionne très bien !)
Résultat : gestion du problème vers 23h30-minuit, plusieurs heures apres la plainte ...
Dommage, car le lieu a du potentiel, mais quand la tranquillité n'est pas garantie et que le service est absent dès que les bureaux ferment, difficile de recommander sereinement dans ces conditions. Nous avons tout de même passé un bon séjour.

Liked Epic views, amazing mountain bike routes , spacious pitches , very clean toilets and showers, tap water tasted good. Welcoming and Friendly staff. Very close to the motorway. Near to some wonderful towns such as Pèzanas. Needed a few more products in the reception - a few tinned vegetables or some ice just to keep us going but really no complaints. Was super!

Liked One of the best ever campsites we’ve stayed on. A very natural campsite in a perfect location on the lake with spacious shady pitches, great when you have 3 dogs. Staff are very friendly and helpful, local produce delivered daily, also friendly welcoming lakeside bar. Highly recommended .

Local attractions

Bring your hiking boots along, because you’ll need them – whether you’re taking the pretty 10-kilometre circular trail around the lake or heading out to places like Causse du Larzac (half an hour’s drive), which has guided hikes as well as easy-to-follow trails. There are lots more trails around the Lodévois and Larzac areas – for family outings or more challenging hikes – so have a chat on site for some tips. Cyclists are equally well catered for, with a fabulous 17 marked trails running through the surrounding Grand Site du Lac du Salagou and the Cirque de Mourèze – ranging from an easy three kilometres to a more hardcore 38 kilometres. For a more gentle day out, take a stroll around the well-preserved medieval town of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert (half an hour’s drive), follow one of the themed trails through the historic streets of Béziers (45 minutes) or head to Montpellier (40 minutes) to explore the museums and dine on local fish dishes like bouillabaisse.
