What customers say

This idyllic campsite boasts a stunning natural setting with a beautiful river for swimming. Visitors consistently praise the exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the owners, who contribute to a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Pitches are described as spacious and private, with well-maintained and clean facilities. The availability of evening meals and a pleasant bar area were also highlighted. While the immediate surroundings lack nearby towns, the natural beauty compensates significantly. Motorhome users are advised to use the east entrance (D51) to avoid challenging road access.

Liked This place is idyllic, from the location to the amazing owners. The food, the river, the setting, oh wow what a place, just made better by the hosts.

Funny, friendly and they just want you to relax and enjoy, what a hidden paradise

Disliked If your in a motorhome make sure you come in via the east / D51, we didn't and honestly lost 8 of my nine lives on the road, not the owners fault but putting here to warn others, it took me a few hours to get over the fear

Liked Stayed here for 2 nights recently and had a wonderful experience!
Thank you so much to our hosts Xavier and Laurence , who made our stay very special and the complex itself is amazing xxx. We would recommend this beautiful campsite , Lovely facilities and very clean and well organized.
We stayed in a beautiful Glamping house. The complex also has a beautiful river for swimming and also welcomes dogs.
We have just booked again to stay for another two nights on our return journey to the UK.

Electric optional grass pitch

Liked We loved the warm welcome, the bar area and availability of evening meals. The pitch sizes were either generous, or privacy created by hedging and a good mix of sun and shade. Very little surrounding noise from traffic. The river and river beach were perfect both for swimming in the deeper pools or enjoying the sound of the water running through the rocks downstream. Good facilities. We booked for one night and stayed for six.

Disliked Nothing

Electric optional grass pitch

Local attractions

How might a leisurely stroll around a château fit with your slow-holiday plans? There are plenty of options around – perhaps you’d like to walk on the ramparts of Château de Montalet (20 minutes’ drive), climb a hill to Château le Cheylard d'Aujac (25 minutes) or see the ruins of Château de Banne (half an hour) before a wander around the village of the same name. Stepping a little further back in time, there are prehistoric relics at Dolmen Table de Turcs (45 minutes) and all sorts of interactive dino-themed activities to get stuck into at Dinopedia Parc (35 minutes). And of course the natural landscape is quite a draw too, whether you head out for a hike in the Cévennes National Park or delve below the surface to explore the area’s caves – Aven d’Orgnac (45 minutes) is the most famous, but Grotte de la Cocalière (25 minutes) and Grotte de la Salamandre (45 minutes) are also well worth a visit.
