The kids have been clamouring to go to Disneyland, but you’ve been dreaming all year about sipping a glass of ‘vin rouge’ at a sidewalk café in Paris. Staying at Camping Les Rives de Paris, in Neuilly-sur-Marne, might just be the way to make everybody happy. This peaceful site on the fringes of the Parc départemental de la Haute-Île, a wooded area enclosed by the Marne river to the south and the Canal de Chelles to the north, sits almost halfway between Disneyland Paris (half an hour’s drive) and the French capital (45 minutes). When you’re not visiting Mickey Mouse and friends, or people-watching on the Left Bank, there’s plenty to do on site. A playground with a tree-shaded sandpit keeps the kids busy (another play area, with a large adventure course, is a five-minute drive away), while the grown-ups have a game of pétanque or make the most of the equipment on the open-air fitness course, which includes an elliptical bike and a rowing machine. For a family outing, hire a set of wheels to explore the island or to cycle to Bois de Vincennes (35 minutes by bike). There is no shortage of dining places in Neuilly-sur-Marne, just across the canal (five minutes, or a 20-minute walk); if you fancy making your own meals, there’s a food shop and a vegetable garden on site, as well as happy chickens supplying eggs for your full English. The toilet block includes facilities for disabled guests, and there’s also a launderette and a drying room.

Liked Das Tiinyhouse befindet sich auf dem Campingplatz mit seiner Ausstattung, wie Shop, Volleyballplatz, Tischtennis usw.
Das House hat genug Platz für 2 und ist für den angedachten Parisbesuch in Ordnung. Das Haus ist ziemlich einfach ausgestattet mit vor allem Ikea Ausstattung.

Unser Haustürschloss war defekt. Dafür wurde gleich ein Haustausch angeboten. Danke dafür.

Disliked Der Preis wäre OK, wäre die Ausstattung auch passend; die Ausstattungsliste ist ziemlich irreführend:
- es fehlt Bettwäsche (+15€),
- es gibt für 2 Personen 1 Handtuch und eine Badematte. Was ist mit Person 2?
- WC Papier ist nur das absolut nötigste da.

Im allgemeinen nicht gerecht für den Preis für ein einfaches Häuschen auf einen Campingplatz.

Liked Tolle Lage, freundliches Personal. Für einen städtischen Campingplatz in Frankreich sehr gut ausgestattet und gepflegt. Familienfreundlich, alle Freizeitaktivitäten (Radfahren, wandern, Joggen, Kajak und Vögel beobachten, Disneyland!) möglich. Was will man mehr? Wir kommen wieder, wenn wir nach Paris wollen.

Disliked Onvriendelijke dames bij de receptie.
Erg smalle straatjes om bochten te kunnen maken. Je combinatie moet niet te lang zijn.
Geen winkeltje of bakkertje op de camping zelf.

Liked Great value site to explore Paris and Disneyland.
Good little centre with eating options a 10m walk away, though opening hours seem a bit inconsistent

Disliked Be aware it's a 10m walk to a 15m bus ride or 25 min walk to the train station to Paris/Disney, though very easy from there. After 15 miles of walking round Paris we needed to save the last of our legs for that walk home!

One service block was very good but small so there was a bit of a queue sometimes, and the others were more "traditional" (doors to the outdoors, no soap, full of insects etc) but we've seen worse.

Very little WiFi, though again not unusual

Disliked Il fatto che per soggiornare in una delle loro case ti chiedono, giustamente, una caparra di 200 euro che ti dicono che ti riconsegnano subito il giorno dopo. Non è assolutamente così, noi abbiamo dovuto sollecitarli diversi volte e ancora non mi sono stati restituiti, malgrado sia passata quasi una settimana. Ovviamente non c erano danni all’interno della struttura.

Liked Las casas están fenomenal y la ubicación, lugar muy bonito. Aunque algo lejos de París centro, tiene buena comunicación. Nosotros fuimos hasta el tren con coche y aparcamos en un parking muy barato. (10 euros = 24 horas)
Y luego nos movíamos con tren y metro. Íbamos con niños de 6 y 10 años. Y pudimos ver todo lo que quisimos.
Las parcelas están muy bien, de césped y amplias.
Nos dieron facilidad para la llegada con indicaciones claras.

Disliked Lo malo de la casa es que no habían pasado aspiradora, ni el polvo.
Los colchones no tenían sábana bajera y no es higiénico. Los edredones que dejan estaban sucios con manchas y algún pelo...
Y había algún bicho que tuvimos que quitar.
Telas de araña etc... No estaba limpio.
No tiene piscina pese a las fotos que tienen subidas en la página web de pitchup y puede dar lugar a error. A nosotros nos pasó.
El espacio para dormir arriba, mi marido que es grande no entraba bien. Para adultos grandes no es cómodo.

Liked Sehr schöner CP, große und schattige Plätze, toll gelegen zw. Schleuse und Fluss.
Bahnstation nach Paris ist 25 Minuten Fußmarsch entfernt.

Disliked Toiletten waren nicht immer perfekt sauber, oft hat Klopapier und Seife gefehlt.

The Sainte-Chapelle de Vincennes, with its elegant Gothic spires, is also part of the complex. Visiting Paris? You’ll arrive from the east, so start your exploration at historic Place de la Bastille, then continue on to Place des Vosges, an elegant square fringed by arcades sheltering art galleries and restaurants. From there, cross the Marais (stopping at independent shops for one-off souvenirs) and reach the Centre Pompidou for contemporary art.
