Liked: très beau site forestier,le lac est assez grand.
ce camping est très bien situé,très propre et bien equipé,les sanitaires sont impecables ,la température des douches est parfaite,les emplacements spacieux,
toute l'equipe du camping est très sympa,nous avons prévu d'y retourner sans tarder...merci

Disliked: we arrived mid early may
You drive in to reception 5.00pm and it appears to be just deserted. we spent half an hour trying to find someone to no avail.
A local gentleman gestured us to go through the woods to a restaurant on the main road about 100m from the campsite and lo and behold the receptionist was there.
would it have hurt to leave a note in a couple of languages at the site???
We were given a pitch number ok but when we went back into the site half the pitches were unmarked including ours and so we just had to squat on any.
The toilet block had no hot water the showers were about 2 degrees above cold. There were no lights working and the place was depressing.
non of the pitches had been attended and were all overgrown with dog mess dotted about.

Local attractions

No visit to the Loire is complete without visiting a château, so when you’ve all exhausted yourselves on the water, how about a visit to Château de Sully-sur-Loire (20 minutes’ drive) for tours of lavish apartments and pinnacled towers? If you’d like to bag another stately pile, Châteaux de Chamerolles (35 minutes) is also worth a peek for its Renaissance-era gardens and exhibits on the history of perfume. Continuing with the cultural theme, consider spending a day in elegant Orleans (40 minutes), where you can learn about a legendary character in French history at the Maison de Jeanne d’Arc, admire the vast Gothic cathedral and take a walk alongside the River Loire to paddle from the city beach at Île Charlemagne. There’s plenty to see in the Loire countryside too; enjoy panoramic views over the Forest of Orléans from the Belvédère des Caillettes viewing tower, or take peaceful woodland walks at the Arboretum des Grandes Bruyères. For rose beds and Japanese water gardens, head for La Javelière (all half an hour), or learn about local crafts at the Musée Poterie et Forêt à Nibelle (20 minutes).

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

If the reception is closed on arrival, please check in at the restaurant.
Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
The site will send you further check-in information 3 day(s) before your arrival.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m..
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.
You'll need an Environment Agency rod licence (you'll need to apply for this beforehand).

You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. between 05/04 - 04/07 and 30/08 - 28/09.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. between 05/07 and 29/08.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.
Please do not touch or feed the animals.
Swimming in the lake is allowed.

Vehicles

No vehicle movement between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.
Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
