Quite site near a lovely little town

Liked Lovely park and restaurant, site kept really neat and tidy
Disliked Toilets and showers, we’re old, but even worse they were dirty!!!! Didn’t matter what time you went in, areal let down. The flies not the campsites fault it’s near 2 lakes and in the woods, it was the first time we’ve had to ever use the fly screen.

Liked Freindly welcome. Pitch is spacious with electric and water hook up and grey waste drain. Site is lovely adjacent to small amenities pond with fishing. Modern toilet blocks. Restaurant on site serving a good selection of food at a fair price.
20 minute walk into the town of Aubigny sur Nere which is lovely with a good range of shops bars and restaurants.
Disliked Early April, the pitch surface was uneven and full of worm casts. A simple rake over would have made a difference and significantly improved the pitch.

Liked Last minute booking travelling from South to North in our camper during the heatwave. Thoughtfully given spot under beautiful cool oak trees. So serene and relaxing. Facilities nearby, showers, loos, clothes washing all clean. Staff all friendly and helpful. Food on site lovely and such good value. Beautiful walk into the village.
Disliked Was eaten by the mosquitos but then you’re near lakes so be aware. Spray repellent liberally!

Liked Stayed for a couple of nights as a family, we really liked the pool and pool area, the games facilities. Great size plots and nice and shady. Level. Walking distance to the town. Nice lake. Good cycle paths.
Disliked The toilet and shower facilities could have been cleaned more frequently. Soil type is very sandy and since it’s shady, the grass is patchy so the area is quite dusty.

Liked Nice small campsite with large, shady pitches. Friendly, helpful staff in reception and restaurant. Clean toilet and washing facilities. Close to small town and supermarket. Good play facilities for children including large Trampoline.

Liked We only stayed for 2 nights. The site is large and with some very large pitches. We found the pitches quite hard so you will need food tent pegs and a good mattess. The pitches were pretty much all shaded with mature trees. There are 2 lakes which we walked around and one of the lakes can be fished although we didn't. The facilities for campers were clean and tidy and the showers were lovely. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant looked good with a varied menu and they do take away food also. We had pizza and burgers which were lovely. The village of Aubigny was a 20 minute walk and is well worth a visit. It's very well kept
Disliked Nothing to dislike in my opinion. Maybe my only my only gripe would be the ping pong table needs replacing, it's literally held together with clamps and sticky plasters.
