Local attractions

Stay here and you’ll be just on the edge of the Morvan Regional Natural Park, with access to all the walking and cycling trails this lovely part of the world has to offer. As well as those activities, you can also ride the Vélorail du Morvan (10 minutes' drive), go horse riding (15 minutes) or head to Lac des Settons (half an hour) for watersports and cool swims from the beach area. There are plenty of historical bits and bobs to seek out around here too: perhaps start at the Roman relic Temple of Janus (15 minutes) before moving on to Bibracte (half an hour), where archaeologists are gradually unearthing one of the most important hillforts in ancient Gaul. Autun (20 minutes) is another great place to visit, with a Roman amphitheatre and city walls to see, plus a striking medieval cathedral. Glass of wine? Go on then… there are several vineyards within a half-hour drive, and the winemaking hub of Beaune is about 50 minutes away. For another taste of the Burgundy area, pay a visit to Dijon (an hour), famed for its mustard.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m..
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
