Peace, quiet and family time is what it’s all about at Camping Les Herlequins, a motorhome and tent site on the banks of Burgundy’s River Saône. Set in around 90 acres of greenery five minutes’ drive from the centre of Saint-Jean-de-Losne, the grass pitches are all partially shaded and some sit directly on the river banks. The pretty setting and well-kept, heated facilities will please all comers, as will the on-site restaurant serving delicious local cuisine made with quality local produce. There’s a relaxed vibe to the licensed bar – open from breakfast to supper for snacks and drinks – and if you’re after organised entertainment, you can join singing sessions, cooking lessons and games or crafts with the kids. Lively musical evenings often take place on the site too. Happily for the kids, they can also have a run about on the slides and swings, challenge mum and dad to games of pétanque or score goals on the mini-football field. Adults may prefer fishing on the Saône, and if you fancy an epic trip along the river banks, hire electric bikes (easy to use, well-maintained and insured) from the site and get pedalling.

Liked Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!
Die Gastronomie ist wirklich gut - wir haben eine ausreichend große und abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte und ein Tagesmenue zur Auswahl gehabt.
So gut haben wir auf einem Campingplatz selten gegessen!

Disliked Aufgrund der Wetterlage war der Untergrund der Stellplätze schlecht befahrbar. Wir haben gesehen das aktuell Schotter aufgebracht wird. Tatsächlich haben wir uns bei der Abreise festgefahren… und vom Personal Hilfe bekommen.
Es gab Reisende die zudem frech ihren Wohnwagen auf dem geschotterten Weg geparkt haben und mit dem Auto weggefahren waren.
So blieb uns also eine gut befahrbare Fahrgasse versperrt.
Dieser Egoismus ist schon traurig.
Für das Wetter kann allerdings niemand etwas.
Das Sanitärgebäude wird derzeit wohl renoviert - gut so, wird Zeit.
Schlimm war das Benehmen anderer Reisende. Das Sanitärgebäude wurde zwar gründlich gereinigt aber ein sauberes WC oder eine saubere Dusche war selten zu sehen. Wir verstehen nicht warum manche Touristen sich so gehen lassen!

SCHÖNE ANGELEGTE Parzellen!

Disliked Nur 1 Bad/Toilette/Dusche an Rezepion bzw. im vorderen Bereich ist einfach zu wenig !!!!

Also auch nicht seperat sondern hinter einer Tür! Duscht da einer ewig dann hast ein Problem, wenn dringend auf Toilette musst!

Und sieht dementsprechend aus!

Und im "Winter" als einziges geöffnet! Das geht gar nicht.!

Und die Stellplätze bei schlechtem Wetter nicht wirklich nutzbar !!

Einfach bisschen Schotter drauf und bisschen verdichten. Verbessert die Nutzbarkeit extrem.

If you’d rather float down the river than fish in it, hire the site’s own houseboat from reception and chug along the tree-lined waterway. There are also several long-distance hikes passing along the riverbanks to follow on foot or by bike, including the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela in western Spain.
