Freundliche Dame am Empfang

Disliked Seltsame alkoholisierte Männer auf dem Gelände, mit großem schwarzen Hund ohne Leine! Sehr laut u aggressiv im Ton!!!
Für uns mit sehr kleinem Hund eine bedrohliche Situation.
Haben unser Pitch verlassen und sind auf die andere Seite des Platzes gefahren.
Für uns ein Grund diesen Platz nicht mehr zu besuchen ! Schade

Liked We loved the configuration of the pitches - we were able to choose our pitch on arrival and would recommend parking up and having a look on foot, walking down from the shower block so you can view the different levels and find little hidden away pitches :) shared electric points are positioned at various points and located on some pitches so you just need to make sure your cable can reach. Mainly grass pitches and some did look a little muddy but we managed to find a nice dry one which was also flat. Short walk into Volvic (15/20 mins some is uphill) where there are a few shops, takeaways, restaurants and bars. We had a lovely meal at Hotel du Commerce.
Facilities were a little tired but clean - Cubicles have individual lighting and some lights didn’t work.

Liked Nice location near village and castle.

Disliked The swimming pool was small, overcrowded and dirty, and the tiles around the pool were extremely slippery. The pool was very small for the size of the campsite. The pitches were difficult to enter and uneven. The shop sold drinks, but were extremely expensive. The website suggested the shop was well stocked, but in reality, they were only a few tinned goods and expensive drinks available. The electric hook up point was shared between multiple dispersed pitches and we were unable to reach it and had to borrow an extremely long extension lead from reception. The shower and toilet block completely closed for Cleaning at 10 AM so men from the men’s showers came to use the women’s showers and toilets and vice versa This meant long waits to get a shower.

They can lead to the video exhibitions in Grotte de la Pierre de Volvic (15 minutes’ walk), source of the famed mineral water, or the scenic crater of Puy de Pariou (roughly three hours’ walk). From Volvic (10 minutes’ walk), the looped GR 441 takes in various volcanoes and heads up to Lake Servières (a seven-hour hike or 45 minutes by car).
