Liked Lovely private pitch, separated by hedges . Perfect for dogs and lovely walk in forest just a minute away. Friendly reception.

Liked Good size, level pitch, which included a wooden picnic table. Plenty of washing up sinks & unisex loos, showers. Very peaceful on site and nearby. The 2 pin Electric supply was good and the owner very kindly lent me an adapter. Due to the weather, no one was using the pool / restaurant facilities. Lovely woods nearby to walk / run / cycle in.

Disliked WiFi was extra but seemed reasonable cost per day / week (we didn’t use). No hand soap at the sinks. Had to wave arms at the light sensor in the shower quite frequently.

Liked The swimming pool was lovely and a large area to pitch my tent. The staff were friendly and helpful and communicated as best they could in English.

Disliked Pitch was not separated from the pitch nextdoor.
I couldn't find a light switch for the shower so I had to shower in the dark.
Showers and toilets are unisex.

Liked A nice, cheap place to stay travelling from Holland to Spain. It’s close to San Sebastian. We liked the kind people of the camping. They helped us very friendly. The pool is nice to cool down a bit.

Disliked The lights in the shower didn’t work, although the shower itself was very good.

Liked L'emplacement ombragé, le calme du camping, très familial et très propre. La piscine!!! Le personnel très aimable nous a mis les pains de glace dans leur congélateur.

Local attractions

Start your exploration of the Landes in lovely Dax (10 minutes’ drive), a spa town with its roots in Roman times. Walk the ancient ramparts and sip the thermal waters at the Fontaine Chaude – and if you’re in need of a little rejuvenating TLC, book a treatment at one of several modern spas. Bayonne (45 minutes) repays a visit with its landmark Gothic-era Sainte-Marie Cathedral, the massive castle fortified by Vauban in the 17th century and Insta-worthy half-timbered buildings in its historic centre. If the kids have had enough of ‘adult stuff’ by this stage, take them to see creatures of the deep in the futuristic Cité de l’Océan (50 minutes) before spending time on the Plage de la Côte des Basques in elegant seaside Biarritz (an hour). If you’d rather stick closer to home base, have a wander through the pines in the Bois de Seyresse (five minutes’ walk), or work off any excess energy swimming lengths of the outdoor pool at Aquae (five minutes’ drive), where there’s also a paddling pool for toddlers.
