Camping l'Arbre d'Or

Liked Pitch 30 was a nice sized plot and level. Plenty of room between plots. Staff were very friendly. Lovely pool area. Showers very clean. Had a pizza and beer in the restaurant which was good value. Staff also very friendly.

Disliked Couldn’t find the fresh water supply to fill
up even after asking at reception. Tap behind reception was a push tap so adaptor needed which we didn’t have. Will make sure we travel with one in future.
No soap or drying facilities available after using toilets. We’ve found France seems to be different to UK with this but this is basic hygiene.
Site was close to lake but a long way from beach. We don’t like to move our motorhome once settled. We have a dog so couldn’t use bikes and the local buses are virtually none existent. Maybe a bit more research on our part would have helped.

Liked Emplacement très grand donc top malgré les fourmis…le hic c’est que tout est payant et n’est pas compris dans le prix de l’emplacement comme on pourrait le croire…wifi en supplément, adaptateur pour se brancher payant et non prêté, les animations sont souvents au bar/resto du camping qui oblige à consommer pour voir assis l’animation…etc je pense que les 4 étoiles sont un peu trop, un 3 corresponderait mieux.
Cependant dans la globalité cela reste un bon camping, bien situé et agréable.

Liked Staff were friendly and helpful. Onsite and local facilities were accessible and close by to ensure a fun packed holiday was had. Pitch size was spacious and plentiful. Bingo evening event was a highlight.

Liked Beautiful location and the range of attractions that could be visited and accessed from the location. Accessible and safe location with excellent facilities for children and the two pools were really nice.

Liked Lovely campsite, the site was very busy but it had a lovely atmosphere, mostly french, not many British/Irish, this was nice, the staff and other campers were really nice and helpful. Lots of children and activities for them, the pool was clean, the bar food and drink is limited but the staff are really friendly. Site was safe and secure, short cycle to the supermarket. The lake beach and grounds is lovely. Showers and campsite in general very clean, super shower/toilet facilities.

Disliked Bar food and drinks a little pricey but this is the case in most places now. You couldn't take your drink to the sun longer on poolside, drink had to be drunk at the bar, be careful when sitting on the stools, make sure to cover seat with a towel, felt like small fibre glass splinters after sitting on for a while.
Not much to do in the town of Parentis-de -born, not recomended if you are looking for a lovely little french village to wander around.

Disliked Le bruit de l’aérodrome, les sanitaires et douches plus que vieillissant, le manque de service . Le nettoyage des sanitaires où vous vous retrouvez ariser par l’agent d’entretien qui n’attend pas que vous sortiez des toilettes pour passer son jet d’eau et tant d’autres choses. Un des pires camping que j’ai fait ne mérite pas les 4 étoiles. Je déconseille….
