Liked: Nothing good about this site

Disliked: It was difficult to find as it didn’t have the same name as the pitch up site. The site was not well kept with small pitches. The welcome was not friendly or helpfully the electricity needed really long cables to reach - too long for us. And then they kicked us out at 9.30 which meant a very unrelaxing morning

Liked: Calme, proche bassin, personnel à l' écoute, restaurants proche en bord de mer à prix abordable et de qualité. Nous avions un meeting pro en visioconférence et on nous a dépanné d' un endroit calme avec chaise et table à l' abri des regards.

Disliked: Horaires de chek UP tardive, difficulté pour sortir la voiture du camping si accueil fermé.

Liked: Great location by the beach. Good, clean facilities. Friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked: Took a while to locate the campsite as the name on the gate isn’t the same as the one on Pitchup. For location, head to the municipal campsite and it’s the one next door!
Couldn’t park next to the tent, but car was in a secure car park close by.

Liked: super!!! rien à redire!!!! un lieux bien protégé par un parking voiture privé avec barrière avec code d'accès et un accès privé pour aller du camping à la page.
De plus il y à même une fois par semaine des personnes qui viennent proposer des spécialités culinaires Basque.

Local attractions

Kids (and big kids) can greet the lambs, calves and piglets at La Coccinelle (35 minutes’ walk). The farm park also has slides, log flume and rollercoasters for a bigger thrill. With more leisure parks and inland lakes in Arcachon (15 minutes’ journey by public transport), this site is set up nicely for family breaks. Being positioned right on the coastal path, there are lots of places your feet can take you, too. Wild landscapes include the Dune of Pilat (around two hours and 20 minutes’ walk), the tallest sand dune in Europe, or the Réserve Ornithologique Du Teich (an hour and 45 minutes’ walk or 15 minutes’ drive), a favourite dwelling spot for a variety of birds. Take the ferry over to Le Phare du Cap Ferret (two hours’ and 35 minutes’ walk and ferry ride) to get some fabulous views of the bay (after climbing 258 steps). Port de la Teste (45 minutes’ walk) is closer by and packed with oyster farmers lugging around oyster sacks, as well as a fair few waterfront oyster restaurants.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Modifications are subject to a €23.00 (£19.14) fee.

Extras

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Bookings must not be for more than 28 consecutive nights.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Occupancy

No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Pitches

A cable measuring at least 5 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Reception

Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. between 29/04 and 27/09.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
No charcoal barbecues allowed.
No gas barbecues allowed.
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

No cars/motorbikes by the pitch/unit. All cars must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. Cars are not permitted when travelling with a motorhome/campervan.
Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.
Units longer than 7 metres are not allowed.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
