- Cascada Hola Vida and Mirador Miramera within an hour's drive
- Waterfall trail on site, plus restaurant, bar and games room
Incredible nature meets comfortable accommodation at Cascadas Las Lajas, tucked away in the lush jungle of the Pastaza province around 25 minutes’ drive from Puyo.
You’ll be entirely immersed in the natural surroundings here, with ecological trails to follow around the site and the chance to take a dip in the pool below a stunning waterfall. You’ll be able to see it all in different lights as well, perhaps taking an early-morning stroll or heading out after dark, when the trail is brought to life with colourful lighting.
A kilometre from the main road, this site can be accessed by walkers, cyclists and all sorts of vehicles; it’s all kept nice and secure through things like alarms and security cameras. And it’s all nicely comfortable too – you’ll stay in a sturdy wooden bungalow with beds made up and a TV provided for when you need a bit of downtime (on that front, you could also head downstairs for a game of billiards or table football if you like).
Keeping things easy on the food front, breakfast is included in your booking and there’s a restaurant on site for your evening meals. There's also a bar for a relaxed cool drink after your walk or jungle tour (the latter can be organised through the site).
