Liked Excellent facilities, clean spacious and modern. Good pitch size with services on each pitch. Superb location, friendly owners and wine tasting.

Disliked Only minor grumble is the lack of privacy between pitches but I think the owner is aware of this and plans to improve it. Three restaurants within walking distance.

Local attractions

For a chilled treat and pamper session, one of Croatia’s most famous spas is a ten-minute stroll away. You can easily spend a day at the Terme Sveti Martin, splashing around in the swimming pools or kicking back with massages and steam treatments in the wellness centre – you’ll need to book in advance and there’s an extra cost. The campsite is also an excellent starting point for cycling and hiking adventures in the scenic Međimurje hills, and with a bit of forewarning, you can enjoy guided bike tours (and bicycle rental) to the spectacular Hill of Mađerka observation deck. Happy to give ideas for day jaunts, the friendly site owners can also organise excursions for the whole family, with popular possibilities including the deer at Farma Jelena I Muflona (five minutes’ drive), or heading for the riverside, working Mill on the Mura (10 minutes). And this verdant spot is close to the pretty Slovenian town of Lendava (25 minutes) on the mutual border with Hungary – so you can visit three countries in one day, toottle around its mining museums and climb the Vinarium Tower for countryside views.
