Liked: Area comune esterna con piscina, sedute, giardino alberato molto accogliente e ben tenuto. Zona pranzo raffinata ben arredata con richiami in stile africano accogliente, ben arieggiata. Ottima cena. Chalet confortevole, ben arredato completato da cucina e bagno in locale adiacente solo per nostro uso. Comodo parcheggio. Personale estremamente cordiale ed efficiente. Tutta l'area è protetta e sicura. Esperienza positiva, da consigliare e da ripetere.

Local attractions

Your main mission when at this hostel is to explore the Mokolodi Nature Reserve on a game drive or during a rhino and giraffe tracking experience. There are also bushwalking tours for boosting your chances of getting up-close sightings of birds and other small creatures. Once you’ve had your fill of ambling with the animals, admire the authentic local wares in Gaborone’s Botswana Craft Centre (a 20-minute drive). The country’s capital is also the go-to spot for learning about the nation’s history – don’t miss The Three Dikgosi Monument, depicting a trio of important tribal chiefs, and the National Museum and Art Gallery. Finish days out in decadent style with drinks at the Gaborone Yacht Club, a lovely location for a beverage or two. Alternatively, if you still have bags of energy to use up, climb the 1,287-metre Kgale Hill – known locally as "The Sleeping Giant" – for stunning city views.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Unsupervised minors must have a letter of authorisation from their parents or legal guardian.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
Protective masks must be worn at all times in common areas.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 p.m. and 6:30 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Occupancy

No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.

Pitches

Minimum spacing of 2 metres between pitches.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
Please note there is no lifeguard on duty.

Reception

Reception is unmanned after 10:30 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
