Creekfront non-electric grass and earth pitch (back-in)

From A$30 (A$30) 1 night, 2 adults

10 people maximum

This site is a bit more secluded and off the main riverfront and on one of its estries, this site is more private and tranquil. A short walk to the main riverfront and homestead. A fishing rod is a must at either location. Bit shallower here and good for young kids.

Good access for caravans and large motorhomes. No amenities so campers need to BYO everything they need (MUST BRING YOUR OWN TOILET) and leave no trace. Dog friendly (we have our own dogs). You will get visits from our pet Sheep, local kangaroos and wallabies. The kookaburra's will laugh loudly in the mornings and the Cockies will be annoyingly loud some days. This is an ideal base for those that want to do day trips to explore the local area or just plop and drop.

There is a big stone fire pit where you can sit around and enjoy the night skies while sipping your night cap or two. This area suits larger groups with plenty of space to spread out

One Roof tent or Touring caravan or Campervan or Motorhome or Tent or Trailer tent allowed per pitch

Local attractions

Fulham Homestead is a great base for sporty types, with hiking, fishing, biking and kayaking all available around the site. If you’re quiet as you go about the place, you may catch sight of wombats or koalas as well as the inquisitive wallabies and kangaroos. Rocklands Reservoir (25 minutes’ drive) is another scenic spot for swimming or fishing for cod and trout, where you can often see kangaroos grazing on the grassy shoreline. You can practise putting on the local golf course (15 minutes), or go climbing in Grampians National Park (50 minutes). While you’re there, admire the views over Lake Bellfield from the top of Halls Gap (just over an hour), or take a selfie with the spectacular MacKenzie Falls (an hour and 10 minutes) as a backdrop. Black Range State Park (half an hour) is known for its bizarre granite rock formations set among bushland, which you can explore on challenging waymarked trails or family-friendly walks; there are also several caves in the park containing sacred Aboriginal art.
