General

  • Quiet and well-maintained retreat in west Wales
  • Abundant wildlife and local activities
  • Complimentary free-range eggs and homemade jam on arrival

Bryn Parc is in the Teifi Valley. In gorgeous west Wales. The site is in a lush salmon and trout fishing area, and watersports activities are available in the pretty village of Llandysul three miles away.

The area is excellent for walking and cycling (a Sustrans route is a few metres away), and it's a short drive to the countless beaches on the Cardigan Bay coastline and the coastal path, from where you may see Cardigan Bay's famous dolphins.

The wildlife and sights here are spectacular: wake up to the calls and whistles of red kites and buzzards, see the night time visits by badgers, foxes and owls, and look out upon the far-reaching hills in the distance. There's no light pollution in this area, so on clear nights the Milky Way can be a stunning sight.

The team aims to provide a romantic getaway for couples or a fun break for families, on a site with no noise or pollution and among open fields with plenty of farm animals and wildlife. Complimentary free-range eggs and homemade jam is given to all guests on arrival.

Please note

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Dogs are not allowed inside the accommodation but can sleep in the bathroom or in your car. Tie-out stakes can be provided.

Being away from the noise and pollution of a city. ... 03/09/2017

Being away from the noise and pollution of a city. The air was fresh and what at first seemed to be silence, gave way to the sounds of the countryside. Wind in the trees, insects, cows and sheep mooing and bleating. A wonderfully calming experience. On our second night, the sky was clear and we were stunned by the sight of the Milky Way, stars galore! Further proof of the lack of pollution!! A great calming break.

Everything was just so beautiful & romantic. Warm & very cosy. Claire who runs Bryn parc is very brilliant stocks up cold box with ice blocks and has got everything perfect. Nice to have eggs & jam on arrival too. All facillities like cooking equipment and crockery provided. And even got our fire started for us on pre arrival as was getting a bit late when I phoned. Would definitely stay again.

    Everything!
Clare is fantastic host and was very friendly. Her homemade jam is to die for and the fresh eggs were the best I've tasted!
We stayed in the shepherds but and it was just lovely. So quaint with a very comfy bed!
There is a gazebo next to it with a solar powered shower, compost toilet (very clean and eco friendly!), sink, gas hob and large cooler to store any refrigerated food and to keep your beers cold! There is a table and chairs in there as well as a fold out picnic table if you with to dine al fresco along with two camping chairs which were super comfy to relax by tue fire in the evening.
We went to The Daffodil for food one evening which was incredible, highly recommended and not 5 minutes drive away.
There are chickens, sheep and a beautiful rabbit keeping you company.
The views were amazing and the peace and tranquillity were well needed!
Couldn't have asked for anything more, Clare has thought of everything and is always happy to lend a hand, a recommendation or just to pop by and see you have everything you need 😊
Thank you again for a wonderful stay, I hope we can come again on day!

I was looking for something different to do with my 12 year old daughter, and I certainly found it here. She absolutely loved it and it was great to get away from the usual pre-teen activities such as amusements that are usually promoted as holidays for this age group. Our host Clare was so welcoming and really attentive throughout our stay, though I still felt that our privacy was respected. The eggs and jam were a thoughtful touch and the attention to detail in the Shepherds Hut was exceptional. We had everything we needed. We made tortillas on the outside grill on the he second night which was a quirky new experience for my daughter. We left feeling relaxed and with a strengthened mother-daughter relationship. We will visit again xx

Nothing really, although a second gas ring to cook on would have been useful

From the manager...

Thank you for such a good review, I will look at next year buying a two ring gas camping stove, but there are two firepit/bbq's set ready to light when you arrive and many do like to cook on the open fires and toast marshmallows over them.

We liked the area, remote, quiet, close enough to the coast. What Clare set up with the gypsie caravan and kitchen/ bathroom is really well done, convenient, and was to us like "luxury" camping!
The kids loved it! First time in camping for them and it 's a good approach with fairly young children!
The weather was with us for the most of our stay and we truly enjoyed everything! Specially the stars watching close by the fire pit!
Thank you Clare for your hospitality, the treats... ( fresh eggs and homemade jam :-)
    Would definitely recommend the place.
